The Blues played amazingly today. Pienaar, Fellaini and Jelavic are really working well together. Throw in the ever present supply from Baines, and I'm starting to get a good feeling about this season. Somebody pinch me.

I can see him scoring a lot of goals this season. I dont think Chelsea will win the league this year, but they look like they will be one of the most entertaining teams to watch. If everybody is fit and in form they have so much threat and creativity going forwards and that will carry them a long way. I just dont think they have the strength in depth of the two Manchester sides and if a key player gets injured, suspended or loses form then it will hurt them a lot more than it will hurt United or City (both of who have already lost last seasons top scorer to injury)

Only having one fit centre-back would be a desperate situation for any team. What's wrong with Evans, anyway? He put in some excellent performances last season. With him, Vidic, Ferdinand, Jones and Smalling, I struggle to think of a team in the league with better strength in depth at CB.

They still have an annoying tendency to sit back whenever they take the lead, with a manager with a more attacking philosophy, with the players they have they really could tear most teams to shreds.

I couldnt care less about stoke fans or their parastic poxy club that simply takes a slot in the league, and the TV money, from many more deserving championship teams who would at least try to play something resembling football.

They are a blight on the league (and not alone in this)

Dunno, it'd be boring if the whole league was Arsenal types passing it around on the edge of the box.

Totally agree, i dont want all teams the same.

What i despise about stoke is their negativity, cheating, and reduction of the game to a series of us football style 'plays' - throw in the fact that they are a subsidised rich mans play thing who operate at a permanent loss, there is really little reason for them to exist or have a seat at the top table

Oh look Arsenal fans moaning about smaller clubs playing to their strengths. How dare they! They should try playing like Arsenal so they can be rolled over, the swine!

Short memories indeed seeing as pre Wenger Arsenal were the epitome of anti football

Anti football is such a shit phrase.

The problem I have with Stoke is that despite spending fucking loads of money, they play shit football and don't even get good results anymore, but Pulis can still apparently do no wrong. I don't get it. Didn't they come 14th or something last season? And yet no one bats an eyelid.

What scum stoke fans are - they actually boo Ramsey

So? It's daft but it's all the motivation he'll ever need. He probably revels in it.

I don't particlar like Stoke, never enjoy watching them when their on tv. Only watched the second half of the game and I feel Arsenal are going to struggle with a guy who can the ball in the back of the net. Not sure Giroud is the man for the job just yet.
