Gender Diversity / Politics in games (was Tropes Vs. Women)

He's like a lesser god in the Terry Pratchett universe, he only exists if he has some followers.

And sadly he does, one of my otherwise very smart colleagues at work is obsessed with him.

I mean "Photo of them together once as his facebook cover picture" obsessed.

I haven't been following him closely because (as mentioned) that what he wants, but isn't it the case that Milo doesn't really care about Gamers or Gaming & is using GG to advance his own anti-feminist agenda?

If that really is the case, then I'm waiting for the moment when GG wants him to support them on some gaming-related point only for him to drop them flat. But since GG isn't about gaming it hasn't come up yet.

Breitbart Tech has published at least 10 articles critical of Twitter in the last few days since Milo got his little badge taken away. The arrogance is absolutely extraordinary. They honestly think that this is what their audience wants from their newly launched technology channel. Or - Milo's ego is just spiraling out of control and he's lost all sense of proportion and journalistic judgement, if he ever had any.

He's never had any. What amazes me is that he writes all these so-called incendiary articles exposing people that he is literally laughing and gloating over but well, they vanish without trace or consequence every time without fail.

No-one ever seems to notice this.

Seeing as the people who read Breitbart's technology pages are there solely because of Milo (no-one else would read their technology pages other than GG people, why would they), of course that's what they want.

He's like Katie Hopkins, but others seem to have deemed him a legitimate political voice which is just... enraging. Seeing conservatives and so many empty-headed "gamers" inflating his ego and treat this like a political censorship issue is full on blood-boiling.

You could basically expand this to the entire Gamergate topic to encapsulate how we feel.

It has been a parade of people who you genuinely can't believe exist, such is their staggering cuntery, angry about issues that aren't real.

Yep, it's very subtle.
