Cersei is going to win, isn't she? Every time there's a decent plan against the Lanisters, something comes along and fucks it right in the ear.

 

Great episode, I thought. The bit with Daenerys and the eunuch fella was brilliant, as was outlining the plan. Good bits with Jon Snow having to be a king, when he clearly doesn't want to. Greyworm talking about his weakness was really touching. Then axe crazy Jack Sparrow with fire and death. Poor Theon is seriously broken, isn't he?

Ironically I've gone back to torrenting this, because the video and audio quality on the NOW TV app is dreadful. So... I tried paying for it, got a shitty, artifact-ridden picture that appeared to be 720p, and stereo sound. This week I downloaded a 1080p 5.1 surround rip and I'm not looking back.

Very strong episode. Good to see the boobs back!  

 

I kinda wanted the end battle to be on a bit bigger scale while Theon has basically gone full on reek again, but it wouldn't surprise me if he has one last heroic redeeming moment left in him before his dies. Arya seems lost, kinda split in two minds. I kinda hoped she would carry on to kings landing.....

Me too! The one I got was around 3 gigs and looks so much better than the Now TV version. I rarely pirate stuff these days, because of things like Netflix.

Her fate is already sealed through prophecy. The thing that I'm worried the most about regarding Cersei though is that fucking dragon killing catapult that she has now. Maester man mentioned that her dragon was hurt by spears, but if the thing doesn't end up killing the dragon outright, it could end up flying over the wall and into the hands of the NK and the last thing that fucker needs is an undead dragon

Yeah, the Now TV stream was shite. The final scene in particular, with all the sparks flying around looked like it was made of Lego.

Turns out they actually shot a scene with Jon and Ghost for this episode, but it ended up being cut.

They proper played Jorah's affliction for laughs this week. I lol'd

 

I also noticed in the 'previously on' bit that when he's talking normally the guy playing Ewan Greyjoy has done a pretty great job of matching Theon's accent.

 

Arya has definitely decided to head for Kings Landing again, IMO. Her previous life with a home and a family is gone.

Chalk me up for 'Now TV was shite, will pirate it next week'. Everything was too dark with loads of artifacting etc.

 

Personally I think the episode would have benefited from a scene showing Euron placing a GPS tracker on Yara's specific ship, and Qyburn developing night vision goggles for the Iron Fleet.
