Gambit
I watched it and enjoyed it. Splitting into two parts though is a clear Netflix trying to hold onto subscribers move.
Illyria
I think it's pretty overrated, at least after season 1 when the novelty wears off. (I'm still gonna watch all of it, because I started it, but it's not nearly as special as many make it out to be imo. But maybe that's just me!)
ZOK
I feel the same about it, @Illyria. I loved series one, and I liked series two, but I’ve no interest in visiting it ever again. The whole thing amounts to far less than the sum of its parts.
The Disco
The Pentaverate is really good. Mike Myers on brilliant form.
Scribblor
Gosh, I think that's the only positive thing I've seen about it. Everything else I've read or heard has been unanimously bad.

Gambit
I only just noticed today that the first few seasons of Lucifer have been added. So the whole run is now available finally.

I am loving the theme song Secret Ceremony…I found it on iTunes but it’s a version with a terrible beat on it, what’s up with that?

Vemsie
I watched Interceptor which has the same super thin plot as your average 90's action B film but it moves along nicely and the female lead kicks ass. As for ST S4 I'm four episodes in and really enjoying it. The finale of that was superb. Also, the budget for this must be enormous. It's a massive difference compared to the Disney+ series and these episodes are all over an hour.

Great ADR in the first episode makes it bang up to date. And: Babette Knudson is even better than ever. Hard to believe she's not given Oscar worthy roles.
JohnC
I see Blue Thunder was added last month. One of those popular around here but I’ve somehow not properly seen.

Baffling that she has not been in more stuff. She was great in The Duke Of Burgundy though.

Gotters
Well this is going to confuse some papers/people - woke Netflix doing a prog ridiculing snowflakes. They probably all end up with crushed avocado on toast though so order will be restored.
Loik V credern
And Netflix are losing subscribers are they. The other film by Joseph Kosinski is out today, Spiderhead, starring Thor and Miles Teller. I watched that celebration of comedy legends by current comedy greats, that was good, Mulaney talking about Robin Williams was great, but so was Jon Stewart on Carlin, with lots of best stand up bits sliced together. Dave Chapelle is incapable of not talking about himself so his introduction about Richard Pryor was a waste, 'if he didn't exist, they'd be no Chappelle' being the most obvious, trite thing a comedian can say, we already know that. Given I don't find Pryor's material often funny, I'd have liked some insight.
Sabreman
Does anyone else get weird picture quality issues with Netflix? I've noticed - particularly on their own new release movies - a kind of soupy layer that seems to shift about on top of the image. It's like a low bitrate problem but it's not confined to a simple resolution drop. I'd think it was my connection, but not only do all the other services I have come through perfectly, other stuff on Netflix itself does. It's very strange indeed. Sounds like it was travelling between places rather than an accident during actual filming.

Bazjam
The new Ghost In The Shell SAC_2045 was fantastic. I’m even starting to really like the new animation style. Maybe it’s just because I’m getting more used to it, but it doesn’t feel like the distraction that it did in season one.
El Geet
Why are Netflix movies generally so rubbish? They have budget and decent actors and, I assume, directors but more often than not they’re just not very good. Edit: there are of course a few notable exceptions. Fierce Poodle
They went through a phase of throwing money at respected directors to indulge their vanity projects, most of which turned out shite. Now they’re a bit more cautious with splashing the cash and seem content with spunking out bland, generic pap like Spiderhead and the Adam Project. They essentially pick up Hollywood's rejections that have talent attached. Annihilation is a good example. It was rejected by every studio for obvious reasons (it sucks)
