Yeah, I caught it. It's enjoyable, despite some daftness.

It feels like a lot of the Ibiza debauchery has gone through a middle-aged Mills & Boon lens, but the cast are entertaining if not likeable.

The wheels totally fell off for me by the end, and like all ropey whodunnits, it has logic leaps an plotholes.

But, at a time when it's entirely necessary, it felt like I was spending some time in a sunny foreign locale with them.

Top Boy Summerhouse was fucking amazing. Anyone who likes The Wire should check it out. It's entirely from the perspective of the drug lords (and connected families) so doesn't have that show's depth but it's just as gritty.

I'm only one episode into the new series commissioned by Netflix, too early to call if the quality is the same as Summerhouse, which was channel 4.

Eurovision is well worth a watch. Will Ferrell keeps it down to about a 7 and leaves it to Rachel McAdams and Dan Stevens to shine

I’m astonished to say that I enjoyed this too - I felt that they actually developed Rachel’s character a bit beyond just ‘love interest’ and felt it actually had loads of energy and an obvious love and affection for Eurovision, even down to the Graham Norton commentary. The sadly brief Natasia Demetriou cameo certainly didn’t hurt either.

Yeah, Eurovision wasn't the car crash I was expecting. It's hardly a classic, but it was entertaining enough for its run time. And Dan Stevens was great.

I'm going to echo this lot. Thought it was great, really uplifting.

Didn't hurt that the songs were overwhelmingly amazing, too.

Very disappointed with Netflix's decision to remove great comedies like League of Gentlemen and edit others like Peep Show. Not sure what they think it will achieve doing this, other than force me to cancel my sub. Sad about that.

What was the edit made to Peep Show out of interest?

Well, I could watch them untouched on All4, or just buy the DVD's, but seeing as I pay Netflix a premium for my service I would rather use that. But if they're going to be thundering in, editing shows (that they had nothing to do with creatively in the first place) willy-nilly for Twitter-winning reasons, and seeing as I'm an adult who is also not a racist, I'll be cancelling my sub.

Netflix have been gaining over 1 million new subscribers a month recently. Just in the UK alone. It's not a great time to make a protest cancellation unfortunately.

bonus trash TV find on Netflix thanks to its algorithm - an Aussie format that seems like a high end 4 In A Bed (the ch4 B&B small hotel daytime tv show) - its called Instant Hotel and is 5 decent spec Air BNBs with their owners going round staying and scoring each other - its a bit higher end in terms of production than 4IAB but is a really good trash watch.

Cheers for the heads up.

They also pulled the D&D episode of community. Which is probably the best episode. And has important things to say about mental health. And the blackface is meant to be awful and unacceptable in the show.

And you know what what?

With all the Racism in the world 1/60th of a show I like is no longer on Netflix and as a white person that’s the most any of these issues have ever negatively effected me and my life.

The reflection I’ve had realising that makes the removal worthwhile for me. I’m insanely lucky.

Dungeons and Dragons?

Apparently they're finally allowing you to remove items from the "Continue Watching" list. I think it's already rolling out to Android app and from 29th on iOS. I don't know about other viewing methods, but removing via Android and iOS will remove it from everything..

Please tell me how to do this, I’ve had some absolute clangers I dipped into for five minutes haunting me for five months and no amount of Netflix trying to manipulate my OCD will be enough to get me to go back to them.

In Android and iOS, there’s a 3 dots button under the show in the Continue Watching list. It’s an option when you tap that. Probably need to make sure you have the latest update. Even at that, I read it was rolling out, which suggests to me it may not be something everyone gets at the same time, but goes out gradually. All I know is I got it

Yes must still be rolling out in that case, thanks for the tip!

Some real weird film choices have been popping up on Netflix recently.

It seems for every Mission Impossible Fallout or Truman Show, there's a Torque or Daylight.

Torque you say. Always wanted to watch it, it’s supposed to be bonkers.

Just finished White Lines.

It's bad, but in an indescribable way that made us want to carry on watching it! The actress who plays Zoe keeps forgetting if she's from Manchester or Yorkshire, and pretty much every character in it is pretty unlikeable.

Yet it didn't stop us binge watching it - we'd watch a 2nd season if they make one.

It won't win any acting awards but it's bizarrely compelling.

We finished Schitt's Creek last night, including the making of\ back patting episode. We loved it! Probably the best sitcom since Parks and Rec, it was really refreshing to watch something that was well spirited. Great characters, performances and writing for all six seasons.

When does this get good? We didn't make it through more than 2 episodes bit I'm well aware that sitcoms sometimes take a while to find their feet.

At first I didn't think it would be possible to warm to the characters, but a few episodes in you start to see their good side coming through and the series begins to shine. Can't remember the exact point we 'got it' but it didn't take long.

The new Unsolved Mysteries is a serious vibe for those of us who can’t get enough nicely shot whispery crime. There’s the usual shady doings and a transpirings, then out of nowhere you get a very compelling alien abduction episode. My only criticism is that it doesn’t throw it back to Robert in a bustling control centre or a floodlit airstrip between each story.
