This game is so cruel at times, I had the game of my life and came third because I looked left for player I was tracking and they had gone right and the next game I forgot I was playing Fortnite and went all PUBG (no I didn’t sue anyone....) and snuck around like a scrub and watched this poor player take out 3 of the last 4 before I stuck a shotgun into the back of his head and took a cheap hollow victory....

 

I say cheap, it was my 25th Solo and given I was happy enough to get a single win given my advancing years I’m gonna celebrate it like Ali-A did his 100th!!

I made this a little while back and never got around to posting it. - The terrible music is to try and draw attention away from my victory cries. 

 

Really haven't played much at all recently. Been too busy with Farcry and God of War. Really need to get back into, nothing quite like the joy of a Fortnite win.

So my 7 year old told me he wanted to play thi game. So, being a responsible parent, I downloaded it and gave it a go to see if it was suitable.

 

Next thing I know it's 3am and I'm storming some place called Fatal Field with ten kids I don't know.

well I can only take credit for this as I’m his Dad, but my boy does this sort of stuff all day long on this game, meanwhile I manage to get killed while I’m trying to put a bandage on instead of shooting somebody.

Can't believe how crazy fall damage is in this, cut down an average tree whilst standing on top of it and it ruddy killed me from full health, this is going to take some time to get used to...

It's a free game on PS4 and xbox

Its free on every platform at the moment, set aside plenty of cash for outfits and dances tho

i'd say the battle pass is worth having which is 7.99 I believe, it gives you some weekly challenges and progression to work towards and unlocking some outfits and dances etc

It'll be interesting to see what they do with the Battle Pass sharing on this. Lucas can use his BP on both Xbox and Mobile, so would be nice if it can carry over to Switch too.

Link linking your account to multiple consoles card do screwy things from what I’ve read on Reddit, so going to wait to see how it works.

It's on the US eShop now. Change your account region, download for free, change back.

Never played this for more than a couple of minutes one PS4, seems pretty solid.

Just be aware, if you ever attached your Epic Account to PSN, you'll need to create a new one as Sony won't allow it to be linked. 

If yours is on one of Xbox, Mobile, PC (or all three) you CAN use your Epic Account on Switch. 

 

Cross-Play between the four too, just not with PS4 version.
