Hardly an obscure in joke. Did you not see the 30 resurrected threads yesterday which quoted old posts and simply said:

Piqued.

Anyway... Will pick this up as Pushblox is great.

I did see a couple of old threads return but I didn't notice they said that.

And yes, I'll get this too. Although the Wii U has too many games and I'm building up a bit of a backlog now.

Nintendo being the money-grabbing bastards that we all know and love, I don't know why they haven't done a retail version of the 3DS game and asked £20 for it. There's more than enough content there to justify it, plus it's very, very well made. At £4.50 it's probably the best value for money game you can buy for the console.

I've been playing the Wii U game and found it's compatible with QR codes made from the 3DS Pullblox game. This has reminded me of one puzzle I scanned from the internet ages ago that I just can't figure out.

Has anyone got the solution to this one?

Sweet! This is f2p I could get behind!

Some more info:

So, the Pullblox series is returning to 3DS. Nintendo just announced a new free-to-play entry for its portable today, and it’s already out in Japan.
This new entry – called "Fullblox" (or “Hiku Osu: Hippa Land” in Japan) – is free-to-play. Players can purchase one world for 500 yen, which contains 100 courses. There are an additional three, each of which features 50 courses and costs 300 yen. Alternatively, it’s possible to buy all four for a discount of 400 yen (1,000 yen in total).
Those who purchase and complete all four worlds will earn a special challenge titled “Super-Difficult Mountain”. In one world, players need to beat/overcome enemies. And just like the original game, you can share puzzles with QR codes.

It seems that although it’s technically going by the term “free-to-play”, it’s more like a demo. Once downloaded, those who try out Fullblox can choose which type of course they want. There are seven free puzzles from the four worlds (regular puzzles, puzzles that look like objects, puzzles with enemies, and NES-sprite based puzzles). We’re also hearing that each world has a different character to play as.

Players must beat the 28 free levels before having the option to buy worlds. Before gaining access to the “Create-A-Puzzle” feature, you need to purchase at least one world.
10 mins. of gameplay:
Nice Pikmin theme.

It's not really free-to-play, it's just a demo with expansion packs. There aren't timers or anything and you can't play the game unless you pay for it beyond seven levels, which'll take less than five minutes probably.

It's just a normal download title monetised slightly differently, kind of like Rusty was but a bit less interestingly done. Not that that's a bad thing!
