stefcha
I think at that price I'll try Wipeout again, even if I might not like it. It's been, like, 15 years or so! edit: £2.87 on +, that's got to be worth it.
spatular
so i'd like to buy ico and sotc but don't think i can because i already have them on psn+, just wanted to check in case there is a way to buy them?

stefcha
Direct via the PS3 or through a web browser? Wipeout confusingly said "unavailable" on the webstore for some reason, but it let me buy it anyway when I clicked through.

It's the same thing. If you buy a code for the PS+ off ebay or something you can only activate it on the console anyway, but you can "purchase" the free stuff however you want after that.

V3zna
Starhawk is a 12.3gb download that requires another 10.2gb on top of that! I was going to buy it but I don't have the room.
squirtle
So I want to buy Wipeout HD. I have £1.41 in my account. Why the fuck do I need to add a sodding fiver to my account to buy it!? For another £1.40 or so, I have to pay a fiver and thus leave my account with roughly £3.60 on it. Why? Why are these archaic limits enforced these days. Zio
I assume they do it to offset the fees they get charged whenever they accept a payment via debit or credit card. Still a massive pain in the arse though.

Guess I'll try again tomorrow. I can't seem to buy the Ico collection either. (Trying on the website at the mo.) For how long does this discount last? EDIT: Ah, I think my card details were out of date (or removed?). Sorted now. Yay! So I want to buy Wipeout HD. I have £1.41 in my account. Why are these archaic limits enforced these days. I think it's something to do with credit card transaction charges. Anything less than £5.00 and they're too high to be worth it. That said, I don't know how iTunes etc. manages it. It is pretty silly in this day and age. Edited July 25, 2013 by Sprite Machine

Camel
So I finally managed to buy the two items I wanted but the issue isn't really resolved. PSN/SEN doesn't like my perfectly valid debit card for some reason. I found the issue was with the card by going to the SEN site -> account management -> add funds. Unlike in the game section and on the PS3 store, here I actually get a useful error message. My credit card details are invalid apparently. I've removed and added these details about 5 times now. They are 100% correct and still I can't add funds. I did notice that if you add funds via the account management section you can opt to use PayPal so I have done that. What a faff. Absolutely no idea what the issue is as I use the same debit card constantly and never have any problems with it.
df0
Same for me with a Mastercard. PSN simply refuses it for no apparent reason. I've tried every so often over the past few months and it always failed.
Qazimod
I don't bother with my card and just buy topup codes from Game or wherever. That doesn't make the card issues any less annoying though.

cavalcade
No. It's OK. Very easy Platinum too, if that's your bag. I'd say the only failings are the lack of rumble, the sort of "make your own fun" nature of the game (there's not really much of a career mode or anything) and the slightly washed out graphics. But it races well, looks pretty good, has a decent selection of tracks and is quite tense in multiplayer (if you like the DiRT style timesplit racing against other people). I thought it was a good 7/10 title, possibly 8/10 if you're well into rallying.
Zio
Might be worth investigating for that kind of money then. I just wish EDF Portable would get included in one of these. Even £24 seems steep for an EDF game.
