 I'm fearing an absolute battering to be honest. But I suppose a point or even more wouldn't be the most unlikely result in the world. If Taarabt can turn it on against his old club and everyone else can stay solid we've got a chance.

Yeah, I've been pooping it as well, but thinking the same thing. Taraabt could possibly have the game of his life, and the rest of the boys have a good'un as well.

Or he could get marked out of it, try to kick someone, get booked, subbed, and then have a fight with himself in a toilet cubicle...

Complete shite. We're making Spurs look even better than they are. No Urgency, no effort half the time. We can't even control and pass a ball today!? Why the fuck do we keep trying to play it down an over-crowded line? This is infuriating. Fuck Taraabt, he's been complete bollocks, and Barton needs to remember he's playing right wing and get the fuck back! Wankers.

Dont be so hard on your team.

When Spurs play like this they are more or less unplayable.

We are letting them do whatever they want though. I know Chelsea went down to 9 men last week, but part of the reason for that was that we didnt give them an inch for the first half hour before the sending off. There's been none of that today. We simply haven't turned up. And Taarabt's been laughable.

It's easy to play like that when you're allowed to. We sitting way too deep, and not even trying to get close to midfielders. It's the complete opposite of how we played against Chelsea. To top it off when we do get the ball there's pretty much no movement and when there is, the ball is too slow or weak. Get Taraabt off and stick Bothroyd in the hole, at least he can link the play.

Much better. The subs have changed the game completely. Credit to Warnock.

Unplayable my feckin hole! This is how we should've started though. Another goal because we stood off instead of getting stuck in! I love Faurlin, but he needs to learn to be a cynical cunt sometimes. Stick that little cock on his arse on the half way line!

Yeah you don't expect to get anything at White Heart Lane, but the first half performance had me shitting it about our ability even to compete in this league. After that I feel a lot more positive, and in particular it's great for Bothroyd that he finally got his goal. This should be the starting XI from now on.

That sounds wrong.. I meant foul him.

So the second half is a 1-1 draw. All that says to me is we went with the wrong starting line-up, and obviously if we'd have shown the same commitment and urgency from the start, we could have got something from this game. So annoying. I don't get why Bothroyd hasn't been starting recently, he's been one of our best players in every game he's played. He may not be a predator in the box, but he holds the ball up and brings others into the play so comfortably.

To me our strongest line-up is clearly;

Young---One Size---Ferdy---Traore

----------Barton---Faurlin

SWP----------Bothroyd-----Smith/Taraabt

----------DJ

We've got decent players that can step in when needed. I've been impressed with Helguson, but he's only really effective off the bench, when he can use his experience on tired defenders, much like Taraabt in this league, or at least against the better teams. I love Derry, but Barton is a better version of him, he is most definitely NOT a winger, or attacking midfielder! And fuck off with this free role shit for SWP.. he was only half successful playing his actual position on the RW, so fecking leave him there!

I agree apart from Fitz Hall. He's way too much of an injury liability to start a game again for me. Gabbidon impressed me today and I think he can strike up a good partnership with Ferdinand.

I know what you mean about Hall, I always have that nervous feeling that he'll get injured at any time. I quite like Gabbidon, but he has literally no pace, and always seems to be scrambling. I'm not really sure why Connolly hasn't been given a proper chance. He's by far our best defender on the ball, and always looks solid defensively to me.. What happened to Shittu!?

Taiwo's pretty good. He's fast and strong and likes to attack. I'm not sure what happened at Milan, I saw him start a few games early in the season and then he just disappeared. I believe he's had some injury problems but I'm not sure of the details. Signing him also means Traore may be pushed forward to the wing; I reckon that would be a good move.

Yeah I'm really excited about Taiwo now it's actually happened. Milan have about 15 different left backs so if he started as 1st choice and got injured it's not necessarily his fault someone ended up taking his place. Traore at left wing could be good as well. Then maybe SWP taking Mackie's place on the right, and Taarabt playing as a second striker.

Taarabt has said he wants to stay now Hughes is here. That's good news just because even if he was going to stay before, we all know he's the sort of player that if it was against his will he simply wouldn't have turned up. If he's motivated to do well under Hughes and respects him enough to actually listen to him he could be - at the risk of sounding like an Arsenal fan - like a new signing for us.

Generally though I'm getting quite bored of seeing us linked to players who are probably out of our league like Alex and Jelavic, or glamour signings like Henrique that somehow never seemed real. Sky Sports are reporting that we're interested in Dempsey... I mean it's not going to happen. We could do a lot worse than picking up young players who, if it came to it, could be stars in the Championship. Jordan Rhodes or Nicky Maynard.

We've clearly done pretty well in the transfer window, and I'm excited to potentially see a taste of things to come today. Diakite is still with Mali in the AFCON I believe, but I'm really intigued to see what he can offer us when he's here in London. Could be we've picked up a right gem in him. Best business of the window for any team has to be Onouha at £2.75 million! Come on you Rs!

I went. Fair play to QPR, they were very committed, but Arsenal were really not at the races and Vermaelen made two individual errors that they capitalised on. QPR definitely looked a hell of a lot better than they did a couple of weeks ago (though it pains me to say it because, let's face it, Hughes is a stroppy ballbag).

What a joke of a decision.

Anyway, looking at the remaining games for the ones still in the scrap, I think 9 points will be enough. I can't see Wigan and Blackburn getting more than 7 points each, and they've still got to play each other.

Academy (two) status and a 3-0 win!

I was in Ellerslie Road last night. Swansea looked content to play one-twos with their 'keeper for most of the first half. The timing of Barton's goal was amazing - completely knocked the wind out of them. And what about Buzsaky's? :omg:
