Oh dear!

We haven't actually been that badly outplayed, but so bad at the back. Fitz Hall and Gabbidon should be 3rd and 4th choice behind Connolly and Gorkss, not 1st and 2nd.

Edit: wtf was that from Hill?!

The only good that can come from this is if the owners finally realise they need to pull their finger out and spend some money... More likely though they'll just sack Warnock and apppoint Flav manager

Tony Fernandes has bought Ecclestones and Brittores stake in the club, he now hads 66% with the Mittals still having 33% - And Amit Bhatia is back as vice-chairman.

A Reported £10 million put in the transdfer kitty

Good times, the future is bright.

I actually wouldn't mind if we signed Joey Barton. He's the sort of signing our owners would go for (free), and Warnock's the sort of manager that could get the best out of him.

@Joey7Barton Joseph Barton

Going for a medical now, still no contract offer from NUFC.......think that just about makes my mind up.

Yes mate!

Yes mate!

So happy about that, and Luke Young.. I'd like SWP, who else do you think might be on the cards?

We were so unlucky today.. it's bloody frustrating how many deflections are getting scored against us! I feel like God is punishing me for all the times I slagged off Frank Lampard! :(

Oooh the post match Motd interview... 4 or 5 signings in the next 10 days :omg:

Great news.. the ups and downs of a QPR fan's life!

Interesting times. I hope at least a few of those come off - we need them!

Have we shipped much out? I've only seen Gorkss

Rowan Vine is on loan down here at Exeter and has looked...ermmm...underwhelming in the first two games. A shame.

Antonio German has had his contract terminated. Peter Ramage has extended his load to Palace till the end of the season.

Looks like we have agreed a fee for Ferdinand. Bellamy looks liverpool bound :(

Not like I'm fretting over it, but how is it that the FA still haven't revealed whether Puncheon's paper work got through in time?

Anyway, our new look first eleven should be:

.............................Kenny

Young......Ferdinand........Gabbidon.........Traore

.................Derry.........Faurlin

SWP................Barton...................Taarabt

...................DJ / Bothroyd

Cerny

Connolly / Hall

Hill

Dyer

Buzsaky

Smith / Puncheon

DJ / Bothroyd

Not bad at all, and genuine strength in depth in all positions looking at the bench. It's also encouraging that a few of our new signings have played together before - Ferdinand and Gabbidon at West Ham, and SWP and Barton at City - so hopefully they shouldn't take too long to settle. Barton in particular could be the glue that holds this team together, potentially proving the perfect foil for both Derry and Faurlin holding, and SWP, Taarabt and either DJ or Bothroyd going forward.

My only real concerns at this stage is what we do if Derry gets injured / knackered as the season goes on, as we don't really have another DM... Also if Traore really does turn out just to be shit at defending we could be very weak down our left side. Still there's always January to sign more players in!

Overall we look a genuinely solid team with a lot of flair that should be more than capable of staying up if it plays to anything like its potential, and hopefully manages not to catch any more fucking viruses. So excited to see Taarabt, Barton and SWP in tandem.

That's exactly the formation/line up I had in my head this morning driving to work. And its easily switchable to a more tradition 4-4-2 when we need to attack - With Bothroyd/DJ both on, SWP and Tarabt playing effectively right and left wing, and pull out Faurlin or Derry.

One of the side benefits is having SWP/Barton is going to be their influence on Taarabt (although he was better against Wigan) Hopefully it will sotp him trying to take on entire teams on his own and releive a bit of pressure from him. Be interesting to see if he retains the captaincy.

Really like the look of the new side, and its great to see we are actually going to give it a go and the Chairman and club have given a real statement of intent. Amit Bhatia on Twitter last night was immense.

Yeah, the turn around from the board has been amazing. Didn't Amit tweet something like "It's such a joy to be working with a sensible man like Tony Fernandes"? He's a class act.

Anyway maybe I'm being overly cautious, but I'm really not sure about any team with only Faurlin holding no matter how good we are going forward. That's why competition for Derry needs to to be the priority for our next signing, IMO.

How the hell did we not win that game1? Been reading so much shite for the last 2 weeks from Geordies talking about us being no where near as good as them. They were shitting themselves for the whole game. A little bit annoyed that we've dropped 2 points tonight, but the signs are very encouraging.

Why didn't Buzacky come on? He was ready and stood by the sideline waiting to come on but he didn't get on the pitch. Good to see Jamie Mackie back in action*.

I was amazed Terry wasn't sent off for the follow through against Paddy Kenny - he only got a yellow but he squared up to Smith earlier (something both Lampard and Derry got booked for) and was generally complaining about every single decision, then followed through and then squared up to Kenny and then tried trolling Kenny by puffing his cheeks out. I don't usually dislike people who I have never met but I can't think of anyone more unpleasant - he deserves taking down a peg or two.

Great victory for you though and a thoroughly enjoyable game - enjoyed it more than the Manchester derby - real passion all over the place :)

*good to see two former Plymouth Argyle players on Sky on a Sunday.

The only reason Cole didn't go right a the end was because Foy blew for full time.

THere's only one thing better than beating Chelsea. And that's beating Chealsea and leaving thier glory hunting, fickle fans with a sense of injustice and damaging their chances in the next couple of games through suspensions.
