Put effort in when it looks like they might get 2-2 then as soon as it goes 3-1 give up and let them have 6. Fucking inbreds.

Are you conceding that Wigan are simply a better them than Utd then, seeing as you couldn't score past them let done beat them?

Mind i guess Man City do only beat utterly shite teams 6-1!

Final Score is unwatchable these days. The brassy aunt Robbie Savage just sums up the events of a match rather than providing any analysis whilst peppering his description with 'you know' and Garth Crooks is a creepy weirdo who thinks he's not as stupid as every other ex-footballer. I reckon he's bi-polar too. There's always a simmering aggression with everything he says. He doesn't so much relay information from the game he's watching as verbally pin the presenter up against a wall and scream it in his face. I wish the BBC would give up with football coverage as they're bloody awful at it.

Watching the highlights of the FA Cup semi-final.

Well... it's hardly a good advert for English football is it? Shocking defending all round, Carroll is atrocious, but they're both nothing on yet another woeful display of refereeing from Howard Webb. How is he still a Premier League referee, let alone given such big games?

^^ Yeah it was an astonishingly shit game really, hoping for more when I'm actually there to watch tomorrow.

Livorno player has had a heart attack in their match today.

Are these modern 'super-fit' footballers getting over trained or is it just horrible coincidence we've had so many in recent years? Hope the guy can recover.

I believe it's that often some people just have small defects, which can indeed by exacerbated (but not caused) by this. Really the only thing we can do is try and have better scanning.

Looks like Dalglish may have had a grilling about the Suarez situation from Henry and Werner during their recent visit. The timing of this admititence and their visit seems too coincidental.

Kenny Dalglish has admitted he should have handled the Luis Suárez racism row in a better way. The Uruguay international was banned for eight matches after being found guilty of racially abusing Manchester United defender Patrice Evra in a match at Anfield in October. Between the offence being committed and the ban being imposed, Dalglish defended the striker as the whole club took a hugely defensive stance.

The manager and the players wore T-shirts in support of Suárez at their league match at Wigan in December and even when the punishment was handed out by an independent disciplinary commission the club showed few signs of contrition. However, Dalglish has now recognised that the case could – and should – have been dealt with differently. "It would be done completely differently if it ever happened again – and I hope it never does," the Scot told ESPN before their 2-1 FA Cup semi-final win over Everton at Wembley.

"I wouldn't say publicly what I would do differently but I know what I would do differently. I would address that. If I have done something wrong I am not shy in saying I have done something wrong. If I can do something better I will try and do it better. Everybody can look at themselves, whether they are good, bad or indifferent and say: 'I could do things much better.' That is what I will try to do. I would certainly hope not to do things any worse."

During Suárez's suspension the team had a run of indifferent results, losing 3-1 at struggling Bolton, and a record of only three league wins to date in 2012 has ended their hopes of Champions League qualification. "You will never know how much the situation affected us," added Dalglish. "We will never know whether we would have won the games with Luis in or without him. But it happened. We had to deal with it and we did deal with it. We have to brush ourselves down, stop feeling sorry for ourselves and get on with it. I think Luis is doing that now. Everybody at the football club is doing it – and they have done it. We just have to get on with our life and make sure we learn our lessons from the past."

It's quite sad that you've given up caring what happens at the top of the table. Honest, but still a bit sad.

You've given up for years, doesn't seem to mean you're any less guilable to a bit of fishing.

Is this ACTUALLY Balotelli on twitter?!

All's forgiven with Tevez then? Embarrassing that all it's taken is a few goals and that whole shameful incident is forgotten. The league title at any cost, as if that's a surprise to anyone.

It's just amazing. There was all that business with the shirt selling/Man City fans outraged...and now they're cow towing to him.

It's pretty awful because it just underlines the divide between the average joe fan and those top earners - yet they lack the realisation to put that together.

You can bet that they'll moan and complain about a boss who earns more and who sacks people or who is tyrannical - and yet he may well be doing his job excellently despite being a despicable bastard.

That's exactly what Tevez does. A horrible man who's only concern is for himself...or he's that stupid that he's a puppet. I don't believe that though I'm sure he had some understanding of what he is saying.

It is remarkable how they've taken him back and it is a shame - if you're good at something screw how unprofessional you are, and you'll get ahead of those who care more, try more, and would be there for the business every single day.

Shocking support from the club and fans after an individual player brings shame on the club, putting glory over the negative actions of one person....
