I think the sweetest part of it is how billy big bollocks City have acted since the money came in.

The whole Tevez 'Welcome to Manchester' thing kicked it off and look at how that turned out.

All they need to do now to be even further down in my estimation would be to wear 'Justice for Balotelli' t-shirts at their next match.

Great match though.

Arsenal tore them apart, score was not a reflection on that game!

You have to wonder why he didn't take the clown off at half time, as said above it was just a matter of when not if he was going to get sent off.

Having said that, Barry and Milner were awful, intact bar Komoany man city to a man were dire and looked scared to play.

It'll be interesting to see how City react now the title is properly gone. Will the pressure lift, and suddenly they'll be playing like they were in the first half of the season? Or will they plumb new and more abject lows?

Bit harsh on Yaya Touré though?

...and Hart, and Kompany. It is true that when Silva isn't playing well, City are pretty easy to defend against though. You would've thought Nasri would be able to take some of the pressure off him, but he's looked quite ordinary since his move. A fit Tevez could be the difference next season, otherwise they will need to spend big once more.

Has it really got to the point that Arsenal celebrate going 3rd like theyve won a trophy? Dont get me wrong, I'd love us to be there but the fans acted like it was a final when that final whistle went.

Yeah and he's been dump since January. Half season wonder.

Yeah they're a solid team otherwise. Him, Hart and Kompany are all class. But they can't play without Silva when Silva isn't on song, and as you say he hasn't been for months.

I think when you look where they were in January or whatever and where they are now having just dominated City it's ok to celebrate.

Of course I understand celebrating a late win against what was a title contesting team but its only 3rd. Yes it's a CL spot which we all want but I just don't get it. Is it cause they go above Spurs too? Then again when your manager says he would rather get a top 4 finish each year than win a domestic cup that's what the fans are gonna think, proven by my friend on FB who've pretty much just admitted that CL football is all that matters.

They're a bunch of football fans, at a football match, whose team has just won that football match. I think it's OK for them to celebrate.

Rednapp is such an inarticulate idiot compared to Neviller, 'Balotelli puts fractions into that City squad' - factions isnt even a big or 'posh' word.

Redknapp isn't even a big or 'posh' name.

(but yes, Redknapp is an unbelievable thicko)

Yeah, but jumping up and down? It's a bit much.

Probably also because Manchester City have several ex Arsenal players too, also remember where they were in the league after United won 8-2. It's been a great achievement considering how much they've spent compared to the teams around them

I wouldn't go that far Dinobot.

We've over payed for players, sure. I think we could halve that and have the same or better players.

So what? We aren't crying about it like city fans, which is frankly pathetic on their part.

'Bottling it' doesn't even come close to City in 2012.

It's true but it's one great advantage that United have. At this time of year when things get twitchy, there are senior players, the manager, back room staff, even the tea ladies. They've been there countless times a they know how to manage the situation.

That was one fan, who may or may not have just been 'frustrated' and not actually crying (or at least that's what he said). Given their history of false dawns and bitter disappointment, I think a lot of City fans are trying their best to keep their feet on the ground, lest this just turn out to be an elaborate setup for another big joke at their expense.

Love how Dinobot is trying to force conversation about Liverpool whilst we all talk about who's gonna win the league and Champions league spots :)
