The Robinho handball incident? It was harsh, but no more than the penalty Barcelona should have had last week when Alexis Sanchez was hauled down by the Milan keeper and no penalty was awarded.

Nah, that's okay. It's only corrupt if it benefits Barcelona.

That prick up front for Benfica is so wasteful. Everytime he fucks up he looks at the bench to see the Manager's response.

Aimar's a great player. I remember him showing Veron how to play in 2002.

Interesting stuff from Zonal Marking in the last week about Mark Hughes targetting of Thomas Vermaelen. He asked City, Fulham and now QPR to try and draw him out and get behind him. I rate Vermaelen technically but he's often suspect positionally and it will be interesting to see if other teams also specifically take advantage of him leaving gaps all the time when I'm looking for it.

Hughes' board from City's 4-2 win a couple of years ago, love seeing stuff like this, which - apart from the final line - is impressive:

Little run-down of crap mascots here which mostly raised a chuckle - the Villa one raised a WTF. We made it in at number 12.. I'd forgotten that Terry the Terrier once had a wife

#20 can't be that crap, Kenny Dalglish bought him from Newcastle.

Newcastle have Chelsea away and Man City at home but they've also got Bolton. Stoke, Wigan and Everton left to play. They're only 5 points off Spurs in 4th place after today. 18 points left to play for. Alan Pardew has to be manager of the season.

I was listening to something on the radio earlier about how Mike Ashley has turned the club around financially (even though the fans once wanted him burnt at the stake). What he's done off the field is pretty astonishing but there's not been that much in the press about it.

I think the fact that they've stopped appointing managers who the fans want and who have legendary ties to the club has seen them start to succeed - perhaps Liverpool should take note.

Always had a soft spot for Newcastle as their fans are so loyal (and local) and they've hardly won anything in their history.

He stayed on the pitch because the ref had sent off a 'less-worse' challenge and subsequently bottled it. That's all I can suggest.

Agree on the general standard of the Leeds behaviour. Our play and discipline has been in rapid decline since Reading beat us 1-0 at Elland Road.

To be fair, you played like every Warnock managed team I have had the misfortune to watch.

The crazy thing is Snodgrass missed a easy chance and you guys could have had a really lucky win.
