I didn't , I just think you are stupid if you do what Reina did or raise your hands in today's game as you know the other player will make a meal of it, even if not touched.

Why not make a bigger deal of Perch and his cheating? You are quick enough to call out Suarez.

Because it goes against his agenda ;)

To be fair, Suarez is a diver, as is Perch, Gerrard, Ben Arfa and countless other players.

Maybe that's because it wasn't a blatant dive.

It certainly looked like a dive to me. Although whether you agree on that or not it doesn't alter the article I mentioned. Maybe you should have a read, it's on the home page of BBC Football.

I had read it and it reveals nothing. You need to look at the turned down penalty appeals and how many should have been given.

BTW, what is the deal with Heurelho Gomes at Spurs? I know he was prone to the occasional howler and I think Brad Friedel is a much better keeper and rightfully first choice in the Premier League, but has Gomes even played a minute of football this year?

My internet connection died before I could post my thoughts about the Bolton FA cup game earlier this week. General points were that Spurs were looking a lot better than the last few games, attacking from all over lots of chances made and lots of ideas (though too much Bale wandering off the wings) and Bolton only keeping it 0-0 for 75 minutes thanks to an incredible display by Adam Bogdan.

I also thought that Jake Livermore showed why he is a superior option in midfield to Sandro. Showing a good all round game, making strong tackles, passing it very well and even when he made a mistake or gave the ball away he'd get it straight back. He even made a couple of shots. Generally I like him a lot more than Sandro and see him as the talent worth nurturing. At very least he isn't at as big a risk of being sent off.

Come on Adebayor, couple of well headed goals for him and Bale has been on fire - we look so much better when playing both wingers!

Swansea have been really nice to watch, good team they have there and well deserved to stay up comfortably!

Some excellent hair chat in the Guardian's coverage of this game.

41 min: There's little doubt as to which decade the hairstyle of Assou-Ekotto, who has just been fouled and wins a free-kick which he belts into Scott Parker's back, belongs. His wild, frizzy afro is pure '70s funk. So many decades of hair in just one team, that's 'Arry's best accomplishment.

They are of course, quite right. Though someone said Modric has a 70s schoolboy do, when I think he is clearly playing up to the fact he looks like Shaun Ryder from the early 90s.

Someone needs to convince Bale to grow a mullet...
