Cisse off for QPR, has he been suspended for more games than he's played?

Suarez being Suarez

Yeah, totally not a cheating cunt.

What? That came off the top right off his right arm. His left hand might of gone towards it but it didnt touch the ball.

Isnt top of arm classed as handball anyway? (never sure how much 'arm' is classed as handball)

I think the fact that he wheeled off and made a point of kissing his hand tells you all you need to know.

To be fair, that is how he usually celebrates. Goal rightly ruled out and player rightly booked.

Move on.

I love how in the Crouch goal the ball goes from the Stoke box to the back of the net without touching the ground. Disappointed we didnt win, but would have taken a draw beforehand. Means we havent lost to the top five at home this year which is better than we've done against the top clubs since coming up. Also a mate linked this which made me laugh (perhaps cruel I know)

It must be a spoof account. "MANSINNI NEEDS TO GO, HE IS CLUELESS, HOW CAN YOU DROP AGWERO FOR DZEKO, HE IS MAIN REASON BEHIND US NOT WINNING TODAY" and "NO POINT TURNING UP TODAY, AUTOMATC 3 POINTS FOR THE BEST TEAM IN THE WORLD. THE STOKE MONKEYS WILL BE CRYING AT 7:30PM FACT" both seem to be engineered for schadenfreude.

So, the Old Firm derby eh? It's odd that it's being so bigged up, given that the game is essentially irrelevant anyway. Even if Rangers hadn't been docked ten points, Celtic's lead would still be pretty much unassailable at this point. I know it technically clinches the title for them, but it has been very much clinched anyway. Hence if there is any trouble at the game, it will be even more pointless and stupid than it normally is.

A really good Old Firm game, that. Thank fuck the Mhankies didn't win the title at Ibrox. It was beginning to look inevitable, and I'd been dreading today's match for weeks, so that's a bullet dodged. Pishing myself at Lennon's ass groove on his vacant seat in the away team's dugout following his oh so typical banishment to the stands. The guy's a bam.

Trust me. Watching your rivals win the league in your own back garden is one of the last things you want to see as an Old Firm supporter. Just ask the loonball who threw himself off the top of the Lisbon Lions stand during the match when we won the league at the San Giro back in 1999. People still talk about that game in Glasgow. As a Rangers fan, it's one of the top 3 memories for me following my team. If Celtic had won the league at the Brox today I would have been physically sick.

We needed something to smile about today, considering all the other shite that's been hitting our club lately.

Incidentally, for those who may be interested, there's a decent 45 minute documentary about the Old Firm rivalry up on Vice Magazine's website:

http://www.vice.com/...tic-full-length

Just posted this week, so it's pretty much up to date, and touches on our descent into administration and possible liquidation. It appears to have been put together by a soppish (i.e. English) new media softie type, taking the outsider's stance, coming up to Glasgow and hanging out with some quite terrifying and staight-up BIZARRE people in a bid to understand the rivalry. He basically comes away from it with even less of clue than he had coming in, but it's worth a watch.

I know several people who have expressed a similar sentiment, although they prefer the term "tragedy milkers".

Maybe it can seem a bit over the top. He only nearly died after all so all the applause, shirts outside the ground and so on can seem a bit much, but I just feel there are much more important things to be getting excited over and dedicating your fanzine's front page to. Like the title race they are involved in. Or taking the piss out of Liverpool.

True. they will never get a better chance. Opportunity missed

New issue of United's fanzine. Not sure the angle here. Is it really worth getting upset at people showing too much sympathy to someone who nearly died?

It is Red Issue. Written by A Bunch Of Cunts since 1987.

Edit: IIRC, and I'm fully prepared to be wrong, but way back when When Saturday Comes listed fanzines in the back of each issue, Red Issue was one of the ones that they refused to list due to some of the content.

Seems a pretty fucking weird thing to put on the front of a Man Utd fanzine though.

Bastion did say that he's a journalist now though. It's all starting to fit together.

This is just about the last thing you'd expect from Crouch. Stunning!

Crouch has always had a bit of a penchant for the spectacular though, he got a few overhead/scissor kicks at Liverpool. To be honest I tend to be more surprised when he outmuscles someone and plants in a bullet header.

low standard of football,

Aluko and McCabe played some lovely stuff, while the rest of our team were knocking about some very neat one-touch passing moves. It certainly wasn't the stereotypical blood and snotters display you seem to be suggesting it was.

shite refereeing

Ref nailed all the decisions and kept bookings to a real minimum. All 3 reds were correct to the letter of the law, unless you happen to be Neil Lennon, in which case, get it up you, wee man!

hate-fuelled crowds

 It was hardly the most vitriolic display from either set of fans. I thought it seemed all very good natured, as far as the rivalry goes. Behaviour seemed great, all things considered.

I ignore Scottish football.

Apart from when Rangers lose / miss out on signing a player / go into administration, aye? Hmm. Well we won yesterday. You can now legitimately go ahead ignoring Scottish football I suppose.
