I didn't really get into football until I was in my teens but when I saw this on Football Italia, I initially thought it wasn't allowed (against the rules or something) or was somehow impossible. To be fair, I also used to think Jurgen Klinsman played in goal for Man U.

Anyway...amazing goal.

Mostly all been said: Signori, Recoba, Djorkaeff, Balbo and Batigol.

The only other one who springs to mind is the amazingly-named Atalanta midfielder Marco Sgro.

He was mentioned a lot one season due to a good run of scoring form. The name has stuck with me and my brother to this day.

Dejan Savecevic.

TOTALLY. The technique that man had. It even seemed to transfer to ISS Pro Evo as I once scored a ridiculous goal on there with him which I'm sure must have just been a fluke of the physics (basically he did a couple of knee-ups appraching goal, knocked it over the 'keeper's head and tapped it in) but seemed so perfect that it was him who scored it.

I've always thought there seems something special about those really cultured players that some out of Eastern Europe from time to time.

Could just be paper talk but apparently Charlton have turned Rivaldo down. Probably an astute decision by Chris Powell if true, would've sold a few shirts and bumped attendances a bit but the media circus could've detracted from their promotion push (although they're probably as good as up already).

Good excuse to post this contender for 'best hat-trick ever' though (one at the start, one at about 2m20s and the last at about 6m30s):

Last day and Barca needed a win!

Plymouth have signed 39 year old Steve Fletcher on loan.

I've always liked him as a lower league player but he's 4 years older than me :o

He's a big lad and hopefully, he'll fit straight into our direct, route one, hump the ball up in the air style of play :)

Super Fletch! My inlaws are huge Bournemouth fans and adore Steve Fletcher!

That goal was on a Nick Hancock football nightmares video, in a couple of minutes of amazing goals at the end. Amazingly, there was a Maradona chip which was better.

Didn't see the first half as I couldn't find a pub in Penllergaer/Gorseinon showing it. In the second half Everton have been awesome and completely deserve their lead. if Moyes could get them to start the season well they would be top 5 every year.

Doesn't Tafarn Y Trap just between Gorseinon and Garden Village have the games? I'm racking my brains to think of other pubs in area that show them as well.

Villa have got to be the most pointless team in the football league. They offer literally nothing in practically every game I've seen them play this year. It says a lot that they should have more men sent off today than they had attempts on goal. It'd take a dedicated fan to sit through that every week.
