I did find this amusing on the sun, particularly the genius picture:

DAVID DE GEA is in danger of ending up looking like a reject member of rock band ZZ Top.

Manchester United's keeper has vowed to keep his blossoming beard until at least May — but it could be a lot longer than that.

He said: "The beard pleases both me and my girlfriend. I want to keep it until United win the Premier League or Spain's team wins the Olympics."

The Sunderland v LFC match is fucking painful to watch. Both sides have been atrocious, with Sunderland probably marginally better - as shown by their 1-0 lead. 64 minutes of utter dross so far though.

Second half put me to sleep for a few minutes. And now AD Sports' signal has packed in, which comes as a relief to be honest.

I was watching it via some dodgy feed, the guy switch over to the Villa/Fulham match at around 40mins

The Villa/Fulham match doesn't sound like it's much better!

Seriously though how much longer can Dalglish survive in the job? 3rd league defeat on the trot, another awful performance, and offering absolutely no threat upfront (as per usual).

That last LFC attack is what annoys me so much about Suarez. If he actually chased the ball down instead of stopping and trying to get the ref to give a penalty for a make-believe hand ball, he might have been able to keep the pressure on.

Redknapp is perfect for the England job. Good early form to quality for the top positions and then he turns the team into a shambles.

Looks like that stone dropping form predicted for Spurs is with us.

Spurs form hasn't particularly dropped, results haven't been good but at least even today when we looked pretty lethargic we still had enough about us to look like getting a goal - Everton got a good goal and sat back on it, they defended well and Spurs looked slow, Bale seemed very poor in particular.

Another frustrating game and more points dropped but no shame losing away to Everton, when Saha hits the post against old club with all that went on pre game you kinda know your luck is out!

Nice easy game away at Chelsea next

Form is results. The Form table doesn't take performances into account - or "having something about you".

Form is form.

Well done against Stevanage though.

True but looking piss poor and getting beat is not where we are, Liverpool are so you will be well aware of what its like!

Big month for us and any bid for third place - I'm a Toon fan on monday night thats for sure but tomorrow is all about Norwich beating Wigan and securing Prem league football next season - Wigan have hardly any travelling fans so should be a good Norwich crowd cheering on the Mighty Yellows!

I am deeply upset tonight. Deeply, deeply sad :(

I think we're going down to the Blue Square.

I actually had a minor panic attack earlier listening to the commentary on the radio when we went 1-0 down. It's horrid.

Plymouth has a population of over 200,000. We are going to be the biggest city ever to play non-league next year. Horrific.
