You're going to have to try a bit harder than that.

I'm not trying anything. You are the most deluded man in the world. Look what you are defending. The majority of your fans have been utterly disgraceful. Suarez isn't even worth it, complete shit of a man.

Don't be silly, Brad. Look at this thread and look at Twitter. Since the panel's report it's been nothing but farce after farce - yes the club fucked up but let's not pretend it's solely our fault. I'm amazed anyone can defend the FA in one breath then admit how incompetent they are in every other aspect of their work in another.

Tell me where I am defending or condemning the FA?

It isn't being silly at all. Ask the other posters here.

Guys:

Suarez shakes the hand of Evra, what is your reaction?

So why didn't they appeal the ban length then, whilst making the point he was innocent?

I'm sure that if they had proof of his innocence then the media would have been all over it. I don't recall the FA ever getting an easy ride from the press, so any sign that they had made an unjust decision would have been exposed.

I can answer for you if you like. They didn't appeal because they had jack shit. He was bang to rights and they knew it.

FA panel's conviction rate is above 99.5%. You tell me if they're just that good and everyone that gets hauled up is guilty as sin or there's something fucked up with the system.

Well we wouldn't be having this massive debate.

In other news, Chelsea could be SIXTH after today's results. They really are shite this season.

That he was as sick of hearing about this as much as the rest of us!

It takes the attention away from how bad Liverpool were.

Watching the game and there was ZERO urgency until added time. To show that little passion in a game against United just isn't on.

Perhaps it shows that they don't go ahead with these kinda things unless they are damn sure.

That's a good thing, isn't it?

Indeed, sacking him is one of the reasons why we are now 3rd.

We are still getting over the money he wasted on Bentley, Bent and Gomes.

You're also getting over Bale, Modric, Assou-Ekotto and the Berbatov money.

No because it either a) implies that unless it's a case the FA want to take they don't investigate b) means that they're not interested in doing a proper investigation.

When they remove the opportunity to appeal a decision, it makes it even worse for defending parties. I honestly wouldn't be surprise if they do nothing about Terry, saying the CPS has dealt with it.

He was hardly a terrible signing. He has been a proven goal scorer everywhere he went so it looked like a good move when it happened. He wasn't a success at Spurs but he wasn't exactly an utter failure either seeing as his goals to games ratio was similar to your other strikers at the time. Plus didn't Spurs recoup their whole transfer fee when he went to Sunderland?

some good goals in Fulham today. Stoke aren't looking very good at all though. Albeit unlucky, could've been offside call for the first and then the second was off the bar, then the keeper and then in.

I really wish the Wales job was offered to Pulis so he could fuck off and we'd get someone in who actually has a go at teams instead of eleven men behind the ball. It's fucking Fulham not Barcelona.

Most of it bar the odd bonus fee. The real issue was that he didn't fit and wasn't needed at all, we already had a great strikeforce and breaking our transfer record for someone new to sit on the bench was straight up stupid when there was a gaping chasm in central midfield.

Liverpool were rubbish again - yet it just shows the dearth of quality in the league when they've out possessioned UTD at home, yet the Manc reds are still right up there.

At least we've got the Euros!

I honestly don't know why you are trying to turn their success rate into a bad point for them. I'm pretty sure you'd be doing something similar if it showed they didn't have a high success rate.

You need to get over this 'victim' mentality you've backed yourself into. The FA have their faults, sure, but in this they are spot on and you need to come to some sort of peace with that, lest it define you.

RE: Chelsea, they've been shocking in this first half against Everton. Devoid of any ideas how to break them down.

We've been shocking all throughout the first half of this season. The last time we played such dour uneventful/no idea football was under Scolari.

None of us have any expectations for this season whatsoever and it seems to be universal in the stands.

I didn't realise how big some of the games were this weekend. Blackburn are about win a six pointer against QPR, Wigan are doing the same against Bolton, and Norwich are edging Swansea in their battle for the title of most impressive promoted team. Then Spurs v Newcastle to round things off.
