Rednap is a fucking mental. Why is he a commentator?

Because he's well fit.

Evra is a snidey little shit, he fucked up at Anfield to give Kuyt the chance to score and no one celebrated in his face at the time or at full time. He's exactly the kind of little cunt who gets the dig in when everyone's distracted then runs away.

Why would Liverpool players celebrate in his face? Because he had the cheek to get racially abused by their team mate?

You describe Suarez quite accurately though.

Its not about being precious (hell, I'm not a Utd fan), but Evra's got every right to celebrate. Hard. In his face. Saying Suarez ended the match "being the classiest act" seems to forget that he acted like a massive knob in the first place, overshadowing any knobishness that happened after by far. Whats the betting Evra wouldnt have been celebrating so hard had Suarez accepted the handshake?

Maybe using 'classiest act' was a little inflammatory. I should have said. Suarez, the centre of all this, was the only one not getting involved at the end. Just walking off and ignoring EVERYTHING around him.

Undoubtedly, but he's a fucking angel compared to the massive bell-end Suarez.

Well his team had just lost. There wasn't much else for him to do bar going all Samuel Kuffour

You can't see why Evra might have been a little bit emotionally charged? Why he might have reacted in the way he did? I bet you any money, that Suarez would have done similar had Liverpool won, or if his goal was the winner late on.

No matter how you look at this, Liverpool Football Club and everything surrounding her at the moment, have come out of this looking bad to everyone.

All Suarez achieved by not shaking is hand was drawing completely unneccessary attention to himself and subsequently Dalglish who will have to answer endless questions on it. People can complain about the media attention but it is what it is and the players are fucking trained about it, they know what is going to happen.

The upside for Dalglish is that it takes attention away from how fucking awful some of his signings have been.

Sorry to disappoint.

Ha!

To be fair my response was unnecessarily snappy so I probably owe you an apology *extends hand to shake*

I just miss being able to support a football club by cheering/criticising on-field performances rather than feeling like I have to support a club by agreeing/disagreeing with comments and thoughts on racism. I actually yearn for the days when the worst I'll have to put up with is 'your team were shite!' rather than 'your team and supporters seem to support racism, hence you must be a racist too!'.

I do not automatically praise everything Sir Alex says in post match interviews, but that was surprisingly impressive. He took the 'I didn't see it' line (and it's true, he was down the tunnel during Evra's celebrations), was then told by Shreeves that it did happen and took the shocking step of condemning it in public. You just don't see that from managers, let lone ones who supposedly get a free ride from interviewers. Turns out the likes of Dalglish bring it on themselves after all...

It's completely different. Suarez feels wronged, Evra plays that he's wronged. Fucking hell, Ferguson's getting on his fucking high horse despite backing a player who launched himself at an opposition fan and another who dodged a drug test. And you can remember how well Ferguson took that ban.

Journos can't wait to kiss Ferguson's feet, no one ever challenges him and when they do, they get banned. Yesterday they threatened to kick off over Kenny only allowing certain outlets to the press conference before they realised that Ferguson's got so many on long term bans that it wasn't worth trying to whip up into a frenzy.

Luis was damned either way - shake Evra's hand and have it turned into an admission of guilt or don't shake it and get the shite he's getting now.

Fucking hell, people getting in a tizz about a fucking handshake.

Could not agree with you more

If I had a quid for every time you've posted that I could print off leather bound copies for everyone who has ever posted in this thread.

If I had a quid for every person in here who read the report before commenting, I could go buy something from Poundland.

He's already admitted his guilt of what he was charged by the FA with. Have you read the report?

No, he didn't. He admitted saying something, Evra accused him of something else and then the FA managed to find him guilty of a third thing altogether.

And yes I did, I read it twice.

SMD you are actually a thick cunt.

You're going to have to try a bit harder than that.

I don't believe that at all. Had he decided to shake Evra's hand, then I believe that the media and other fans, would have said "Fair play, at least they are trying to draw a line under the whole affair"

Ferguson knows how to play the media, that isn't a shock is it. When his team is the best in the land (for two decades) then he has learned a few tricks to work the media. Hell, he condemned his own player today, while also doing the same to a Liverpool player. He played it perfectly. Kenny however despite being honest with his thoughts (one would assume) came out of it looking poor.

Back in the dressing room, Ferguson will have a wee little laugh with Evra over the end of match shenanigans, but publicly he handled it as he should have. Kenny, well he has a lot of work over the next week, as it just won't go away.

Liverpool have been fighting a losing battle from the moment the report came out and the 8 game ban was handed down.

Why would accepting a hand shake be seen as admission of guilt?

We all already know what he did and his club accepted the punishment for it.

Because of the way the media likes to spin things. And no one knows what he did, not even the FA can commit to one story. And the club only didn't appeal because the system is completely fucked, you can't appeal the decision only the ban.

Don't be silly, Brad. Look at this thread and look at Twitter. Since the panel's report it's been nothing but farce after farce - yes the club fucked up but let's not pretend it's solely our fault. I'm amazed anyone can defend the FA in one breath then admit how incompetent they are in every other aspect of their work in another.
