Never been a fan of Evra, always a horrible wind-up merchant of the worst kind, especially against us. But my respect for him has grown massively over the last couple of months with the way that he's dealt with the whole situation. Whatever the situation, he represents the club and this was a chance to at least make a small gesture to put the whole thing behind us and start focussing on football again. I've been a big liverpool fan in the past but this season I've really fallen out of love with it because of the way Suarez, Kenny and the club have dealt with the situation. There's been countless opportunities to just swallow the medicine and have done with it but each and every time they've chosen to be confrontational and arrogant. It's been totally emabarassing and I really can't stand the way fans are blindly arguing in favour of Suarez just because he's in a Liverpool shirt. The guy's a total dick, he may be in a Liverpool shirt, but that doesn't mean I have to pretend I can't see his behaviour for what it is.

Evra also had the chance to be reserved and humble at the end but was just as much in the wrong for stirring the pot even further. If only the Irish League wasn't so dire, I'd probably give up on the premier league for good.
