So Chris Samba has put in a transfer request at Blackburn. Seems he has something lined up to do that, but the only things in the media so far are QPR and PSG (and PSG have been linked with pretty much every footballer in Europe since they got eleventy billion euros for Qatar, so I cant see him going to France) which surprises me somewhat as he is a bloody good player and I thought there would be more interest. QPR is a sideways move at best, though I guess West London is a nice place to live when you are on a couple of million quid a year. Anyone care to speculate on where else he might end up?

I read Spurs/QPR on the Guardian site. I think the Hughes connection (plus new-manager-spending-tradition) is the main reason QPR are being mentioned, but maybe there's more to it.

Dunno why PSG would want him, Sakho and Lugano are both good centre backs, and I doubt either of them would want to be on the bench.

It wasn't because it didn't deny a clear goal-scoring opportunity. Pretty boring explanation really. It was pretty blatant though.

That was a poor game of football; Wigan seem to want to play Barcelona (and Swansea) style football but haven't got the players to do it. People have been banging on about Man City's depth and quality all season but I didn't see that tonight. It was a 4/10 game for me, not much in terms of chances and far too many yellow cards.

Adaptation depends on the player though. Pato was 18 when he joined Milan, Chicarito 21 when he joined Man U, Faurlin was playing in Argentina's second division before he signed for us and has been our best player ever since.

Yeah but most of those players were at least first choice for their clubs, Henrique has only played in the senior SP side recently due to Luis Fabiano being injured. He might well turn out OK but I think it's too soon for him. Shame he didn't follow Hernanes example, he stayed at SP until he was ready and he is looking good now. SP probably happy to let Henrique move though if it lets them keep Lucas and Casemiro for another year.

He's been really good for the brazil youth side, and he is a good prospect, but he hasn't played that many games yet. Might well turn out very well, but might be another Wellington Silva.

Ganso is indeed Paulo Henrique (hence the P.H. Ganso on his shirt) but he's also not a striker and is 22.
