Andy Carroll looks completely fucked, looks seriously low on confidence. Not sure if he needs a goal, a kick up the backside, a couple of weeks away, a move back to newcastle maybe, or just to keep pluging away and hope something good happens.

I nearly feel sorry for him.

Interesting comments by Gerrard there, pretty much calling Mancini a hypocrite complaining about Rooney but now trying to get Jonhson into trouble. I saw it more like what Shearer said that he wants to know what the difference is. I can see why hes saying it though. But I agree it's a red.

I see Robbie Keane has finally signed on loan for the club he supported as a boy, Aston Villa. At the press conference he said he was delighted to be at Villa Park but it was something of a wrench leaving his boyhood heroes, L.A. Galaxy. He is expected to make his debut against Everton this weekend, but if he scores a goal he wont celebrate because he feels it would be disrespectful to Everton, the team he supported when he was growing up.

Very good!

Read this on a betting website earlier...

Wrexham hero Mickey Thomas scored a famous goal against Arsenal in the 3rd round of the 1992 FA Cup, to help knock the league holders out of that year's competition. A few days later he was arrested for his part in a counterfeiting operation and spent 9 months in Jail, following his conviction in 1993. 1992 was an eventual year for Mickey as later that year he was stabbed in the buttocks by his enraged brother-in-law who caught him 'In flagrante' with his wife.
