I reckon United as well. Thry cant afford to lose it.

I reckon theres a chance they'll even do their FA cup special - get everyone watching and anticipating what should be a great cup tie and then go 2-0 up early with Man City getting someone sent off and its game over.

I'm not sure exactly what I should of bet on, but Im pissed I didn't

No it's not exactly the same but at 3-1 it was feeling like a funeral. If you go to support your team you shouldn't abandon them.

Just be quiet. Among all the stadiums I've been too Old Trafford has been one of the worst for atmosphere. I went watch us (Derby) beat you 1-0 on the day you were presented with the title and it was completely flat. They brought the trophy out to half arsed applause.

Scholes has been really poor since coming on. His job is to calm the game down and help united keep the ball, but his positioning and passing have both been poor and he has been responsible for the loss of possession a few times.

Aye, time to retire methinks!

I think any questions about Citys bottle and desire for the Premiership have been answered. I think Fergie will be most upset about that, even if United do win. 3-0 up against 10 men at their place was a chance to really put some mental pressure on them.

Yeah but Aguero has been fantastic. Get the ball to him and I don't care how many defenders you've got between him and the goal he's capable of scoring.

He's having a tough time, not a natural target man - doing well despite it.

Hargreaves on! Why are all the dead people playing today?

Oof. Another blatent pen. The ref is awful today, truly awful.

He's not a natural English-style target man but his attributes- great first touch, vision and technique - mean that he is excellent as a target man with the ball played into feet, and he excelled in this role for the first twenty minutes of the second half.

EDIT: As showed just then.

Wow. Despite a minute to take the free kick at the end and the resulting corner, Foy only adds on about an extra 2 seconds.

I've rarely seen such a poor refereeing performance.

Question is; what will become of Rooney's gesture to the City fans? Have ITV not picked up on it yet?

How was Rooney Man of the Match? A good header and missing a penalty, lucky with the rebound, and almost nothing else.

Aguero toiled away on his own and was brilliant.

Foy named the man of the match too I suspect.

Let's avoid the hypotheticals, the game was pretty even before the sending off, and we did go a goal up. As for Jones, his confidence is clearly shot, he's messing up the simple stuff. SAF would probably drop him if he could given his form. He was excellent for us before the Christmas period though. He's had a couple of shocks in recent games, which I think will do him good in the long run, make him a bit more grounded. Doesn't change the fact that here's obviously a fabulous talent.

City would of won easily with a full team selected and 11 men, that's for sure. Still don't understand why everyone rates Phil Jones so highly.

Because at 19 years old, the lad has plenty of time to develop. Not one of his best days today mind.
