Was at the County Ground to see Swindon beat Wigan today, cracking atmosphere and a decent game in places. Wigan were pretty rank though.

When a wigan player fouled someone I did hear some bloke behind me refer to him 'as that wog at the back', I wish these cunts would just die in a nasty industrial accident sometimes.

My 'favourite' was "YOU PAKI BASTARD" (from a Shrewsbury Town supporter) to an Arsenal supporter on the tier above, who was quite enjoying pointing and laughing at the cunt below, giving him the finger as they went 2-1 up against us. All the while this absolute bell was standing just behind this Indian lady and her son.

Ive been to the County ground a couple of times, some of the home supporters don't exactly paint themselves in a good light. Some guy had a go at me when I was walking back with my dad (whose in his 60s), and this was after a Johnstones paint trophy game. He also had no way of telling I wasnt a Swindom fan! Knob!

How do people feel the Derby will go tomorrow?

I have a feeling that without Yaya Toure City might, just, could, come unstuck. And if that happens and Utd turn them over...perhaps it could be a re-run of what they did to Arsenal all those years ago.

Okay so it's earlier in the season yet it might just happen. I think Utd might edge it!

I reckon United as well. Thry cant afford to lose it.

I reckon theres a chance they'll even do their FA cup special - get everyone watching and anticipating what should be a great cup tie and then go 2-0 up early with Man City getting someone sent off and its game over.

This game is a perfect example of why the FA Cup is so great and should not be changed to mid week or seeded or whatever fucking stupid ideas they have.

This is a massive, massive game.

I really hope they never seed the FA cup. It would ruin the whole spirit of it and we'd have the same teams in the later stages like the CL is every year. Wish that wasn't seeded too, would love some real groups of death.

Its kinda seeded already, what with the top two divisions getting a bye to the third round. The format of the cup is fine, but we have reached that time of year when the hand wringing begins because people have realised the cup isnt as big a deal today as it was when most of us were kids. The blindingly obvious reason why is during the 60s, 70s and 80s (and before that probably?) the only game of domestic football you would see on the TV all season was the FA cup final. Of course it was going to be a big deal if it is the only show in town. Now you can watch half a dozen games from half a dozen leagues every weekend and almost as many again midweek if you so choose to. There isnt any reason to get as excited about the FA cup any more. It's an unfortunate side effect of all other football coverage getting immeasurably better, no more, no less.

Not a lot changes if either side wins imo. If City win everyone will be saying they're going to do the double, if United win suddenly everything will apparently be back on track. Hyped to high heaven but at the end of the season I highly doubt this will be a game you look back on as a key moment in anything other than deciding the eventual FA cup winners.

I was at this game and sat above the away support. Didn't hear any racism but there were quite a few Shrewsbury fans who spent more time trying to call people out in the upper tiers than actually watching the game. You get that at nearly any game mind.

Oh man, amazing!

I was a bit gutted I didn't really appreciate him as a player when he was around. Be good to see how he is used.

Makes an absolute mockery of Ferguson saying his squad is good enough and no new signings are needed. Obviously he's just not being given the funds.

Fantastic header! Game on.

I was just considering that the Scholes thing is there to deflect the pressure away from the other players. It worked considering Rooney has been in the spotlight. Now he's performing.

Kompany off! GAME OVER.

Why the fuck would you not start your best keeper. I'm not saying Hart would have saved that but surely this game requires your full strength team.

City now down to 10, fuck me this is gonna be a good en. Deffo not a red at all.

Can I borrow that sports almanac when you're done with it?

If one of the united players got sent off for that I'd have been pissed off.

I'd be pissed off at the player. Absolutely no need for that type of challenge in that area of the pitch this early in the game. I don't really know how anyone can defend it, could have easily caused a big injury with that challenge.

Rooney complained to the ref straight away. Awful refereeing, the biggest game of the weekend and he's ruined it be either being influenced by the opposing team or just poor decision making.

Man U should have them now. Sit back and hit them on the break - a la Sunderland. I can't see Man City digging themselves out of this hole.

A wider thought - if the card is upheld then Kompany is going to miss 2 more domestic games.

No Toure. No Kompany for a while. CITY IN CRISIS!!111
