If he did head butt someone it will have been captured on video I'd imagine, so I guess we'll find out.

I'm referring more to the claim that the referee told him at half time that they hadn't actually seen anything and had basically sent him off for lols. I haven't seen the incident so I'm not sure whether it was worth a red card, but the referees telling Barton at half time that they hadn't seen owt before sending him off seems really unlikely.

Fulham have some really technically gifted players with Dempsey, Dembele and Ruiz. They wouldn't look out of place in one of the big teams.

And Bobby Z.

'Tis true. Dembélé is a bit misused by Fulham sometimes, as he isn't an out and out striker, but he's got a lot of quality on the ball. Ruiz, if given a good run, will turn out to be a great signing - he was outstanding for Twente. "Deuce" Dempsey is one of my favourite Premiership players. He's technically fantastic, but combines that flair with being an absolute MENTAL. Has Clint Dempsey ever smiled? He looks like this all the time...

We won away :omg:

Yes, we had seven changes, but it wasn't a weakened team, only Orlandi was a reserve player. We played our weakened team against Spurs.

Villas manager after the match basically said we were gifted goals. Gave swansea little credit. Same thing has happened to swansea all season as far as lucky goals against us are comncerned (man u and arsenal spring to mind).

You just got to keep smiling. Every team seems to have their "off day" against us. We battered Villa and it could easily have been 4 or 5.

Yep. At least Rednapp said swansea deserved their draw and was full of praise for us. As for funny after match comments the award has to go to A certain QPR manager who claims that they were "mugged" and the ref bought some play acting over Bartons headbutt. The man is really quite mad.

I have a lot of time for Swansea. A good honest side who try to play the right way. Plus a gounded manager who's not a bellend like Warnock.

Also reports that Lampard should have been off, at least Alan Green squawked as such on 606.

Again one to digest later and yet it may well end up as another week of refereeing inconsistencies...

He was serious though, one step away from full on meltdown. He's lost it and is obviously disconnected from reality.

Nothing wrong with that, top entertainment! Keep him around.

Here's a man who lost Samir Nasri and Cesc Fabregas in the Summer, saw his team missing half of the first team squad through injuries and suspensions leading to an 8-2 defeat at Old Trafford and as a result was manager when Arsenal were 18th.

4 months later the Club are in 5th and challenging for a CL spot, if not more and you reckon he's lost it?

I don't recall other clubs with injury problems getting an 8-2 battering, especially not those with Arsenal's squad and general set-up. The Premiership isn't populated by oligarchs, keep it in context.

When you start saying black is white through a general feeling of disenfranchisement then you have a problem. They aren't hard up, please don't pretend they are.

I don't know how the players cope with such a negatve man at the helm.

Indeed. They are also still in the Champions League!

I have no problem with him getting fucked off and stressing out. It shows that he still cares for the club and probably went ape shit in the dressing room (which I prefer to the stories of him not saying a word and just standing there after a defeat) at either the players or the ref. and either is again fine with me. It will hopefully give the players a kick up the arse or build a siege mentality which most clubs seem to thrive on.

Keep what in context? I'm not going back over the loss for the sake of it and I certainly haven't mentioned money, rather my point, quite obviously, is that considering where we were, it's absurd that we've made so much progress in such a short space of time and you think the person responsible for that should be sacked.

As for your suggestion that the players probably can't cope with 'such a negative man at the helm', is that based on your professional opinion as a psychologist, your insight from someone at the Club you've been fed or just your assumption based on nothing of note?
