Was never a free kick and Liverpool have been doing it all night. They've got no shape, no spark going forwards and seem to be relying on 'passion'. They've used early balls well this half though.

The game playing now isn't a bad way of summing up Blackburn's season. They don't have a problem scoring goals (only thanks to the Yak), but their defending is laughable. What Pedersen was doing for the second goal, I have no idea.

All throughout the recent criticism, Steve Kean has constantly maintained that he could get Blackburn playing as a team and get them to gel. On the basis of the the last three games, I've come round to the idea he might just have been right all along.

I really hope he turns it around. He's actually made it interesting to watch Blackburn, where as before they were one of the those teams that would just hover in the league achieving nothing.
