Great stuff there from Xevious, Chooch and Larson, shame Mr. Do wasn't allowed out to play.

Think Xev paid all but 1 bell for my fountain, and got compliments all round about my town.

And no-one told me to put my top back on.

Yep, all but one bell. I don't want to be too generous!

I was a bit disturbed to turn up and see a naked villager ...

Yeah, but how do you get them to buy stuff? I've only had two things bought the whole time I've been playing.

Yesterday I forcibly pushed a villager towards the stuff on display until the blue marks appeared above his head. Spoke to him, said of course be should buy the pink hoodie I had put up for sale.

Also, look in villagers' cupboards when you're in their house as sometimes they'll give you stuff that you find in there.

first time since launch I couldn't get on yesterday and fired up this morning to a town full of greying flowers - most distressing - so much so I've immediately enacted the beautiful town ordnance, repealing night owl.

be interesting to see how much efforts the occupants put into this as would be great to be saved my daily 10-15m round of flower watering, which is the only thing I find a tad grindy. If their efforts are anything like bell collection for public works I'll get one flower a day watered

Buy flowers from Leif everyday and you'll be silvered up in no time.

Just visited Aika Village (dream Nightmare Code - 2600-0218-7298). Creepiest village I've ever been too.

Near enough shat myself on 3 occasions, spoilered in case anyone hasn't visited there wants to;

- Entering the 3rd house to be greeted by a creepy doll with an axe at her feet

- Walking to the back of a room in another house and clocking the same creepy doll sat right up in front of a static-playing TV like in Poltergeist

- Entering the back room of the final house to find a clothed mannequin with an axe at their feet, then returning to the main room to be greeted with the character now in the room I had left unoccupied previously - wearing the same clothes the mannequin was wearing.

awesome. will be over shortly

How do you type so quickly on the 3DS? Takes me ages to type the on that thing... silly small screen. Thanks for the handy tip of keeping items in mail, no need to leave my watering can, axe and megaphone dumped at the door of my room anymore.

I've got an XL which makes it a hell of a lot easier but I often get the stylus out (as it were) for added speed.

I generally only carry around my watering can, axe (if I don't break it in about 5 minutes which is what I've been doing recently - so much to tidy now I've worked out half my fruits are worth piss all.) net and rod. I keep catapult and wet suit in a letter and then put those other 4 in letters if I get a big haul, or transporting from island box to Re-tail.

I generally play on the train or on my lunch break so haven't used the megaphone once as I'm still not sure about shouting OLAF at my 3DS in public.

I usually keep my catapult, spade, net and rod on me to quickly cycle through when needed. Watering can, axe, wetsuit and megaphone I just leave in my house (read: dumping ground) until needed. Only use the megaphone for annoying the villagers I want out of my town. Damn, on that note I should have tricked you into talking to Gabi and/or Baarbara in the hopes of one of them moving to your town.
