You look great in that regal look. Or not. If you have it in the bank why not, I wouldn't give up a town project for it mind.

Can people keep an eye out for the Knight helmet in their Able sisters please? I have a hankering for some Dark Souls cosplay and have the Solaire pattern from qrcrossing.com.

Got one for you. Gates are open!

Amazing! I'm on my work connection so might not be able to connect but if you could keep it for me that would be great - are you after anything?

Edit - bah, yeah - I can't get out of my town. Will keep an eye on later when I'm at home. Thanks!

Nah, I'll get what I want in good time :) Would opening your gates make a difference? I can visit!

It's the usual firewall on firewall corporate bollocks here, I've really struggled to get in or out in the past. I'll give it a go but don't be surprised if you immediately resetti or can't connect...

:( Can't see you... I'll leave my gates open for you later

I don't play as such (well other than at lunch) at my desk, but leaving it open or quickly running around doing something, my boss doesn't give a shit.

Letsbook - nice one, I'll try to hop on as soon as I'm home in two hours or so.

Nook is playing with me. Turnip prices are going down by two bells each time. Now at 63.

I know that he no longer runs the trading shop, but you just know he's the one manipulating the market.

Weirdly, one of my townsfolk bought something from me for 240,000 bells. I skipped the text so I don't know what it was, but I was in shock!

Bells are a barely profitable 147 today after hitting lows of 25 or something equally daft.

I bought my turnips for 96 and sold them for 176. Perfectly happy with that. If anyone feels they need more out of a quick fix than that from the stalk market, I don't see how they can be enjoying the game as much as me.

A better price in my town would be nice from a Deal or No Deal perspective, but it hasn't come so far this week and I've taken the chance that the next two days aren't going to be any better. This meta game is more fun than having 5m bells doing nothing in my bank account.

It doesn't tell you who buys or what gets bought anyway :(

Learned a good tip from Kotaku a bit altered by myself to make the most of catching bugs and making money from the island by chopping trees.

...

Hope it helps.

This is a brilliant post, but surely it's pointless? If your goal is to make as much money as possible as quickly as possible, then the only thing you should be doing is buying turnips.

Beyond very early game when you don't have much to spend on turnips, there's just no reason at all to try and earn money any other way than turnips if money is your only aim. For everyone else, they'll just take the island as it is and that will be more than sufficient.

You mean selling perfect fruit. I've made over 2 million bells since Sunday, with at least another 300,000 sat waiting in my locker.

Best of all, I got my silver watering can from Leif today! Flower upkeep just got ten times easier!

So I think most of us Day-1ers are in for a fun surprise tomorrow in the Town Square...

Also, I'm open. The Knight Helmet is for Looper, everything else outside the station is fair game!

Well, one space in your inventory taken up by perfect fruit is worth 27,000 bells (54,000 if you get really lucky, or 64,800 if you get REALLY REALLY lucky). One space taken up by turnips is probably worth around 40,000, so both are pretty lucrative, yeah, certainly there's no competition as far as the island goes.

It does when they walk up to you and ask to buy something from you inventory. I'll be popping round her house later to see if I can work out what it was. I have a feeling it was the throne...

I want to expand my house a bit more then just enjoy moving and improving things in my village. I hardly made any bells last weekend and it was nice just tohave a few chill out moments on there.

Built a street lamp and waiting for my fence to be built tomorrow.

Likewise, except for those I want to make models from!

Oh I should've said I sell them to my villagers, when they pop into the shop.

Ah! You badger them into it? You're worse than Nook
