Also, I found a "paper scrap" in my town. Any idea what it's for?

A paper scrap is a new trash item introduced in Animal Crossing: New Leaf. It is obtained by not filling out (or taking too long to fill out) a Petition Form issued by a villager.

The villager will say that the player took too long to get the signatures for their petition and that they had to send the list already, both canceling the request and turning the petition form into a paper scrap. This item has no use and is considered trash. It can be disposed of at Re-Tail for 120 Bells or thrown away in a Trash Can.

Just back from my dream trip to your town. Looking good. Really like your house.

Your villagers sure are all grouped together though aren't they.

Whats up with the weird leaf-less tree?

Took the Charizard design from the Walrus and now made it my town flag.

Thanks! The dead tree is what happens to perfect fruit trees after they've fruited a certain number of times. When it happens they have two perfect fruits and a rotten one on, so normally I cut it straight down and replant a perfect fruit tree, but my axe broke when I tried.

The villiagers are all weirdly stuffed into the bottom half of the map, on the other side of the river from me. I like it :)

I've still not had any perfect fruits since some jerk moved in where my one perfect cherry tree was growing. <_<

Most of my villagers are bundled together the other end of the map to me. But then after picking a nice place for my house people moved in either side of me. Though Hans has since moved on and I've had his house replaced with a fountain.

Still had no requests for the police station or Coffee shop. :(

Need perfect fruit!

Some git (cool but kinda burnt out looking gazelle) has built his house directly on my paved path that leads me to the beach from my house.

I started to create orchards and plan where to put projects better but need to start shifting trees to encourage villagers to move in certain areas. So far I have a nice cliff side bench, a fountain central in front of the town hall, the police station next to the rail crossing to keep an eye out for dodgy visitors, Resetti's centre next door so Copper can make sure I don't get smacked about and a camp site just over the river where I plan to have a well nearby.

Spent most of my money on 'nips today at 97 bells, keep me informed of awesome prices.

Also had my hair done for the first time. Style looked good, colour is rather grey :S

The owl guy requests a cafe after you've donated 50 items to the museum and built the museum extension. No idea how to get the police station though.

Police Station was requested by one of the villagers in Eltown and then it showed up on the project list.

I have been asked to complete the petition by one of the folks in my town and it has to be signatures from other people in other towns. Does it need to be 6 other towns or just 6 people from another town?
