Good morning folks and welcome to the San Dimas News Network. Today's top stories:

:: Foreign investors save ailing museum project. Mayor Jiroczech throws lifeline and helps pull San Dimas back from the brink of bankruptcy. Negotiations last night not only strengthened bonds between NeoTokyo and San Dimas, but the illustrious leaders were reportedly seen swapping clothes and one eye witness saw them "running around in circles." Unfortunately, local markets still to recover and at an all-time low of b53. :: Culture vultures rejoiced at the opening of the public galleries at the Sand Dimas MADMEN today. In a ceremony held outside the station this morning, Mayor's aide Isabelle said the project was a 'vital step towards the town's rejuvenation, reinvention and rebranding as the #1 place to visit. :: And finally, new resident Coco has won a poll, becoming the town's Most Sinister Resident. Her cries of "Hail Satan!" are putting townsfolk on edge, as are her dark hollow eyes. On the same day, her house was also voted Best in Town. One could say 'the Devil is in the detail'. (Really guys? Your jokes are awful) ::

Anyone got some perfect pears they're looking to sell in another town? Re-tail in Newtonia is paying extra for them today, not sure how much that'd be but they normally go for 3000 each in 'faraway' towns.

So this bamboo malarkey: where do you get it and what does it do?

I've got half a dozen perfect pears I could shift, but it wouldn't be until this evening.

Also, I need a custom ordinance to have shops open early, late, and closed during the day, Spanish style. Work is really getting in the way of my village.

I got a bamboo shoot from one of my villagers, once it grows to full size you'll occasionally find another one buried nearby.

I'm at work just now, but will open my gates for an hour or so this afternoon, and then again later this evening for anyone that wants to sell their perfect pears.

I have quite a few, pears are my native fruit. I don't think you're on my friends list yet Squigs, I'll add you this afternoon.

Not the best prices, but if anyone missed out on the high turnip prices yesterday, they are currently 317 bells in my town.

I'll leave it open just in case, but be warned that my connection in this game is bloody awful for some reason. Resetti is becoming a permanent resident :(

Plenty of fruit on the trees though if anyone is missing anything. Got everything including bamboo. Help yourselves but don't nick all the perfect cherries or flowers :P

1) Plant a sole bamboo shoot

2) Don't worry about the additional shoot that it produces a couple of days later

3) Don't worry about the additional shoot THAT produces a couple of days later ...

4) Start to worry about all these additional shoots, and dig one up to plant somewhere else

5) Have multiple additional bamboo shoots growing EVERY SODDING DAY

6) Realise that you will never again be able to relax through fear that your town will become an entire forest of fucking bamboo

Opening my gates for a bit if anyone wants to sell perfect pears. I'm at work so might not be around, but will try to keep an eye out in case of Resetti. Help yourself to any fruit, shop items etc, but please don't RUN!
