***PSN & SOE Compromised - Problems with Welcome Back? Help & FAQ - Post #1***

I never in my life thought I would pay for PS+ but i'm gonna get a 3 month extension (£11.99) on my freebie. I want to continue with Burnout Paradise and its £24 without subscription. I can carry it on for 3 months for just £11.99 and hopefully get to sample some other decent games too. Sorted!

EDIT: Does anyone know - When someone is a PS+ subscriber forever they keep all freebies for the length of that subscription. But someone drops their subscription for 1 day before signing up again - do they lose all their freebies i.e. they have expired and as they are no longer on that month's offers you can't get them back?

Good to see Sony can make money from their welcome back package! That was always part of their plan; nice job Sony.

Life is that serious huh? Strange.

So you all believe that there was not one part of the welcome back package that was designed to encourage people to stay on?

I don't care either way. Sony's a business and like any other business they can act like cunts, or pretend that they love me and I can choose to buy or not buy their products based on that, or I can buy their games because I like their games.

It's the constant trolling that annoys people, you've probably made more posts than anybody in this thread and not once have you offered help, constructive criticism or even a well-timed joke - it's either been school-level fanboyism or a conspiracy theory that nobody actually cares about.

What did people go for in the end? I went for Wipeout and not sure what to pick for the other. I don't fancy Ratchet and whatever it's called. I didn't really get on with LBP in the demo. Is infamous any good? Did I read Dead Nation is a bit hard?

inFamous and Wipeout but been playing Burnout only so far

- Did anyone bother with the 3 free film rentals that were offered? I downloaded all 3 first weekend. Final Fantasy watched last week. The other 2 seem to need repurchasing at full price now. BAH.

LBP and InFamous, but I wish I'd gone for something other than InFamous. It was OK for free though, I suppose.

Final Fantasy is *still* downloading.

Well, I already own LittleBigPlanet and WipeOut Fury, so I got everything else.

InFAMOUS, Ratchet & Clank: Quest for Booty, Super Stardust HD, Dead Nation, LittleBigPlanet (PSP), Pursuit Force (PSP), Killzone Liberation (PSP) and ModNation Racers (PSP).

Although I've been playing Burnout Paradise before my month's trial expires so I haven't looked at them yet.

When I stick my 3 month sub to PS+ onto my account will it renew at the date the 30 day freebie expires or will it renew from the current day?

They're listed as two separate services in account management. I would let the 30 days run out then sign up for the 3 months just in case it runs them concurrently.

So to confirm - if say the trial ran out on the 2nd July, and I take out the 3 month 2 weeks later (due to holiday) Burnout Paradise will be playable again? (no stupid loopholes)

It should be, that's how everything else works and I've let mine lapse for a month then resubscribed and as far as I can tell everything I'd previously downloaded was still playable. I don't see why BOP would be an exception to this. Have a look through account management > services to see what you have subscribed, some of the PSN+ stuff comes under a separate service even though it's part of PSN+ just in case BOP has different rules.

Okay, can somebody give me an answer to my questions?

It's been how many weeks now since the PSN Store went back online? Then why - oh why - can I still not log on, because I have to change my password, for which I'm directed to the account manager, which has been under maintenance for as long as I can remember

To add insult to injury, the "welcome back"-offer is soon expiring as well. Can sombody tell me what is going on here? Thanks.

Yeah, it's properly fucked this is

I went through all the info, and every single time I ended up with the same fucking link: https://store.playstation.com/login.gvm.

I've been waiting well over a month to get back to my PSN account. Bunch of despicable cunts.

It might not help, but try this link,
