Jira isn't the most reliable of things. It gets the job done but I think when you upgrade to the latest version is sometimes forgets things, like requiring a password for access by default...

Weirdly enough Clint Hocking and Doug Church are supposedly working on Left 4 Dead 3, which sounds like bloody nonsense (though if true, I can't wait for L4D3!) I still think L4D3 might be a joke codename for HL3. I don't mind either way really.

What IS clear is that they've had a few people tinkering with Dota 2 for a while, everyone else seems to have been working on Source 2. The number of groups (and people per group) for Source 2 vastly outnumbers everything else. I really, really can't wait to see it!

It's clear they've been working on other things internally than just DOTA 2, I mean, they outsourced CS:GO and are now doing more to do their usual with that (workshop, skins, community updates, etc)

Storage is actually the issue though. Phones are 16gb, 32gb, 64gb if you're insanely lucky. Games are big. SD cards are certainly an option, I suppose.

It's a nice article and in most respects certainly not a future I would object to. I wouldn't want games to have to work on the bus as in his example.

Yeah, me neither. I strongly think however that in the future we will have a single slab in our pocket, which will wirelessly beam video to our TV, tablet, laptop, whatever, whilst connecting with whichever control device we need.

Sure, I can have better graphics, but the graphics on current-generation consoles are amazing enough.

Maybe it's just me being an elitist master race arse hole but no, the graphics on the current consoles aren't amazing enough. Not even close when you see what we can already get from PCs.

I know it's much maligned, but where would something like the Wii controller fit into it all? I guess Nintendo would just have release it as an optional extra and have a default button and stick control system.
