Looks like it's only a 3 pack for green day. If it had minority I'd probably get it but not that tempted by basket case, American idiot or Oh Love. After already having purchase the Smashing Pumpkins, iron maiden and Alice in Chains packs that's a good thing for my bank balance.

Also I'd agree with the tunning if I tune it with my tuner the game thinks I'm slightly sharp (although near enough to pass the tuning) and it sounds correct while playing.

The import pack is live for those with the PS3 version ( :bye: ). Costs £7.99 and is missing a few novelty tracks. Worth the price though; some of the mixes are different, as mentioned in a previous post, but the tones are better and with the added benefit of 2014's graphics and notation, it's just brilliant now. So much music to play :omg:

Who wants to borrow my PS3 Rocksmith disc?

This is normal behaviour based on the link up the page, the original songs are only available for people who own the original (on console this translates as having a save file or game data installed). Sounds like rights issues.

Heads up but game dev confirmed this is operating incorrectly on steam, and the DLC should be buyable from both versions of the game. He said they are pestering Steam but as each individiual bit of DLC needs changed it might take a while.

Bought this today for £55 on the xbox360 for the version that comes wth the lead. Opened the box and all I had was a disk, lead and some paper and stickers. Is this normal? Shouldn't I also get an xbox360 plastic case?

Loving the game by the way! Although it's made me a worse guitarist - I'm not used to reading music in this manner!

I play on xbox360 and am getting about 1/4 to 1/2 a second delay between plucking a string and te sound coming through the TV. It's pretty annoying and ruins the play slightly. Anyone else had this issue?

How is your sound set up? Ideally you want to be playin through speakers hooked up via analogue to your xbox.

Yeah I'm working on getting that set up. Not going to play this game until I have the right sound set up as it's difficult/not fun to play with an audio lag.

It's good man!

Just got a 'Perfectly Perfect Game' trophy (Platinum on Master) playing through score attack, made me smile but then a little part of me things I probably don't need to be stood in front of the PS3 to be melting faces, heh. Also: there aren't enough people playing score attack (or: I'm on the wrong platform*). Not that I mind ;)

* the platform of ROCK!?

Not sure about the obscure Japanese stuff but I'll be getting the Who pack. This game is costing me too much :)

I really hope they can keep the momentum going with the weekly dlc. The last one died off quite quickly but hopefully they're making enough to keep it going this time.

I couldn't play the intro for shit on guitar hero, so I'll be even worse on this. Think I'll pass.

Still can't buy original game DLC without owning original game. Very poor show on Valve's part.

It's pretty easy once you get a good grasp of which fingers to fret each string with (and I'm pretty shit tbh).

I got an update today - no idea what it does but hopefully addresses the game freezing fairly frequently.

Has anybody been following Bandfuse at all? I think it's out in the US now.

I have just aquired a Jackson Rhoads geetar. Im trying to decide which platform to get Rocksmith on, PC with headphones or Xbox with Pioneer surround sound?

Does rocksmith have the cables I need?

Get it on XBox and send me a friends request :bye: . You'll get much better latency / delay / lag if you use an analogue output from the xbox / input to the amp however - that said, I use an optical out and it's fine (just don't rely on HDMI for sound).

I've just had the game freeze on me again so the update hasn't cured that. Is it just me (I've installed it to HDD) or is everyone on Xbox experiencing this?

I've also noticed that the leader board now lets you compare scores with friends so lets get ourselves some friendly competition organised - please add me, my tag (Xbxox) is Harbey.

Really? I assumed having an optical output would be better ?!

Sweet Mountain River by Monster Truck = retro rock heaven. Almost got rhythm and lead cracked, such addictive fun although I suspect Mrs Harbey is starting to get a little sick of hearing the same riff for the last three hours :)

Monster Truck is indeed awesome. If you haven't you should check out the album, it's really really derivative but it's just fantastic from start to finish.

I was making a concious effort the other day to try the on disc stuff as to be honest without the career mode from the first game there is no real insentive to do it. And there are actually some really good songs on there.

The issue I've had is that the DLC has been so great I've had more than enough to play.

With regards to the freezing issue. I've had it a couple of times in the many many hours I've played the game, to be honest at about the same rate I had it with the first game. Slightly annoying but doesn't happen often enough to bother me.
