Anyone for a couple of fights? I just made a rare foray into ranked matches and almost beat the 57th best bison but sadly I can't do ultra inputs, so instead of timerscamming him I snake striked myself into the air and lost. It was an okay experience other than that, though.

For the few Mahvel headz in here, I think this is the most obnoxious Dr. Strange combo I've seen yet, and there is a lot of competition for that title:

I love how in the notes on the video the guy is lamenting the fact that he could have got 16 or 17 eye of agamattos in there if he'd done it differently. I maintain that Dr. Strange is the best thing in UMVC3.

I fought Donut today for a significant period of time. I countered two lunch punches with ultra combos, Donut hit me with Ryu LP uppercut EX fireball FADC ultra, my PC groaned under the strain of running a game it used to run without complaint. It was a good time!

Then I tried PC ranked because I was jealous of Donut's points and got killed rapidly by GFWL's 4th best Honda, practised playing patiently and not taking risks against a bunch of people and then finished up with a bizarre pair of games against a dude with a 6k Oni who DPed on pretty much every wakeup and eventually ate one too many ultras, then for the rematch switched to his 3k Guile and did nothing but throw the odd boom then jump back and forth fishing for an air throw - to which tactics I lost the first round and almost the second before settling down and pressing pretty much nothing but downback and cr.MP for the next two minutes to eke out a win. On PC this man has collected over 2k PP.

Mr Starr - sorry for missing your message on Sat. If I don't reply to messages its usually when we're watching sonething, as I have notifications turned off for vids.

We were finishing Archer. You should all see this, it's great. Nearly as good as Metalocalypse.

I'm gonna be online from about 18:20 for good hour this eve. Then four days off, so if you or anyone is around this eve or daytime the rest of the week, it would be my sincerest pleasure to fight you in this wonderful game.

Schwartz Bros opposite the theatre is the best burger in town, has been for years. In fact I think it's their slogan.

No seating though and it's raining. Market next door is good, I had a rather dope burger in there today in fact. I promise I don't only eat burgers. It's just that I only tend to be looking for food in Bath when I've been drinking, so, burger.

Pie and a pint in the Raven is good for old man factor. The beer in there is excellent.

That's the nicest way of saying "mashing" I've ever heard. :D Kidding aside I always enjoy 3S lobbies; when you're feeling confident you can be so much more aggressive and sassy with your playing (rather than the back and forth trepidation of SF4) and it makes matches as fun to watch as they are to play. :wub:

Thx n8. Missus and I ended up in Gascoyne Place, which was excellent if not too exciting or adventurous.

Old man factor and burgers will be on the agenda tomorrow though when dad and stepmum come up for the day.

Sorry, I'm going to post about Dark Souls again.

Had the game bug out on me in Blighttown yesterday when I'd gotten the furthest I'd been in the area. I was spinning around and around. So, so annoyed.

Blighttown is a fucking shambles. In more ways than one.

It's still the best game though. :wub:
