Joffo, I've got next Friday off and we were due a serious set. Let's daytime fighter.

I will probably also be on at some point this evening as I am not doing big nights out until I've saved up enough to go to Latitude.

Edit: we should also do a day one forum tourney with video uploads when Ultra comes out. New characters only. Except Rolento because he's banned.

Excellent. I'd love some Vs Rose practice. Lovely stuff.

I wonder if 3vs3 Team Battles will make larger lobbies less tedious? Hopefully there's a way to dictate the order of play. Not that I mind hanging back watching everyone else play, squeaking out happy noises when something fancy happens. I do sometimes worry when I see a player get their turn to fight, and lose, that they might leave the lobby all sad and demoralised when dumped back in last place in the queue.

EDIT: Also, Plopboy, you are a wonderful man.

Ugh. My new house internet is diabolically bad. I tried maybe 9 or 10 ranked games. The majority had lag that rendered them borderline unplayable. No point trying to anti air let alone hit links. The irritating thing is that the connection is actually wired, which I thought would be an improvement. We're paying virgin like £70 a month for this!

Put Mike Ross' face on it next.

EDIT: the petty image, I mean, not Sam's internet. Sam, Curtis, sorry I ignored your messages earlier - was playing with some non-rllmuk chaps who don't like it when you do combos.

Had one of those rare lovely moments on ranked earlier. Paired up with a 4000BP Ryu who bizarrely only had 50PP (don't think I've ever seen such a cavernous gap between the two). Unsurprisingly, he wasn't up to much and played like a total maniac. He had a mic and for some reason I was expecting him to start mouthing off but after I beat him all I heard was a quiet, but extremely earnest 'good game, man' from the TV.

I also played a T-Hawk player who seemed to realise almost instantly that I had accidentally pushed the switch on my stick that makes it a right analogue stick or whatever. Despite being in the corner and with a life loss, he stayed put and waited for me to start moving about again before playing.

Ranked needs more nice people.

I'd totally be up for that, despite my ineptitude with the newcomers in other games.

I'm betting everything on character #5.

I just wanted to post here and say even though I'm terrible at Streetfighter... I love it so much!

This week I've watched all of Canada cup 2013, Apex 2014, Challenge Capcom 2014, The Super Arcade Ultra Streetfighter Location Test, DHW13 and SuperJam7 oh and of course the holiday adventures of Mr Gootecks and Mike Ross!

If anyone can recommend some much watch tourneys on the tube I'd be most happy!?

Streetfighter

Looks like you've not watched Defend The North? It was excellent and is archived on Team Spooky's channel, currently 13 days ago on the "past broadcasts" section:

Also you haven't mentioned the Capcom Cup from late last year which was also excellent, but you might just not have mentioned it because it feels so long ago. Youtube file:

Great evening with Dogfingers and Qazimod. We played "the spectator picks your character". Sooo good!

Mm, ggs indeed; sorry I had to leave so soon. Picking characters for others to play always leads to plenty of mischief and I think I picked some pretty horrible matchups at times :P A personal highlight for me was when I had Sagat and accidentally comboed one Tiger Knee into another and did a random Angry Scar for good measure, probably losing a bunch of meter in the process :D But yeah, ggs all.
