That Ibuki video is wonderful and cheery. I like it when they make the effort to sync the action to the music.

Oh, and this Ibuki thing from eventhubs has fun stuff in it. My eyes glaze over a bit when I see the latest Sako/Sonyono autopilot Ibuki compilation, but the target combo glitch this guy uses to loop people, his love of catching things with raida and other fun quirky stuff sets the video apart from the usual Ibuki ones:

The excellent use of editing, cutesy music and Fresh Prince clips in this stops me getting worried and mildly angry about that Ibuki back-jump thing. Oh god.

Also I like Joffo's Six Second Meals and I hope the series will continue.

I did that bad thing where you have a terrible run of matches in ranked but you can't stop playing. :doh:

That's the kind of thing that makes me afraid of going to ranked these days; I lose one match and think "ah, I'll just make up the points by winning the next few games". And then I lose some more, and it turns into a horrible downward spiral...

The irony is that a lot of my wins today came against 2500+pp players, but give me a 700pp Ryu who likes to Tatsu at inexplicable moments and I absolutely fall apart. :lol: Absolutely zero composure, me.

Apparently yer man Dawgtanian has confirmed that Ultra Street Fighter IV will also support Youtube uploads of match replays:

That's pretty good news.

Also, I really hope the 3v3 team battle mode also allows us to play with just two players, KoF style. Have they confirmed anything either way? It could make for some interesting battles. Confirm instant rematch option for two man lobbies next! And best-of-three matches in ranked! And bring back the wee lobby faces! Also, combo HORSE mode! And system direction options! And everything!

There's almost certainly going to be ps4/xbox one versions, right? Also, I'm surprised there's been no mention of a 3DS version. Wasn't the 3DS version of Super the one which sold the most? And I'm pretty sure it wasn't a budget release like the console versions were either. Maybe it's considered a launch title fluke. I'll buy it on whatever systems I own anyway.

Somebody type some words.

I need to play a very, very long session as Dan against some of y'all's mains so I can learn to play properly before thon Hypespotting tournament. I'm so wreckless. Let's play some Serious Business sets!

I have three days off next week so if any of you other layabouts are around on Wednesday, Thursday or Friday then I will be available to press buttons.

Also, Dan's corner combo of cl.mp x lk.dankick > instant air EX Dankicks > Ultra 2 is my favourite thing at the moment. The Ultra already does poor damage and in that combo the scaling combined with the juggle potential being used up by the EX Dankicks it only connects for a measly two weak hits. It's perfect. I have not yet tested to see if cl.mp x lk.dankick > EX KRK FADC instant air EX Dankicks > Ultra 2 is possible though. One hit, scaled further!

Dan's Ultra 2 oughta be a big one hit fireball, like Sean's.

That's pretty good news.

The best part in the linked article: "directly to your own YouTube channel". In other words, none of that 3rd Strike nonsense of having everyone's replays pooled into one account. If it works well, it could be great for recording future forum tournaments - provided we all title and tag our videos similarly, we could then stick them all in a big ol' playlist for people to watch. :)

EDIT: oh yeah, I'll try and be around sometime this weekend if anyone's doing lobbies on PC or XBL. :P Street Fighter!

I might very well sour off home early from work tonight, then frump my way to waitrose to get ingredients for dinner, then afterwards when I am slouched on my threadbare couch I might turn on the xbox and play a little bit of street fighter. Or dead space, since I've just started playing that. It is 2008 and I am 24.



Also I want to go to see simian mobile disco in late february, but nobody i know wants to go. We should have a thread outing to that.

I'd go but sadly I've recently moved to the hills to grow a beard and get old so I don't think I listen to that music any more. I'll fight you at street fighter though. And joffocakes.
