Had quite a bit of lag with Qazi last night, dunno why, the wireless router is literally in my room. Maybe I should figure out how to connect via Ethernet. lol!

I moved my desktop across the room for this afternoon's fightings to see if I got a better wireless signal and it seemed a little smoother than before; not sure if anyone else saw any improvement... GGs to you and Donut though. :)

It was a million miles better than last night.

GG's both of ya. I'm drunk as usual so was a bit button-flappy. Also, I'm not used to playing with the joystick on the bed infront of me. lol!

Cannot believe you didn't buy Strekken in the Steam Sale.

p.s. I also made a new shortcut on my desktop, but the game doesn't recognise any of my DLC. I assume I need to create one from inside Steam?

Get your fifth character hype here. Or not.

Siliconera has another hint about the unannounced fifth character in Ultra Street Fighter IV. You can see her in the Street Fighter comics, a source teased to us. Let’s recap all of the other clues and see if that gives any idea who she might be and, yes, it’s a she.

1.) It is a Capcom character.
2.) It isn’t Asura or Bad Box Art Mega Man.
3.) Ultra Street Fighter IV will mark this character’s fighting game debut.
4.) It is a character that isn’t on anyone’s radar.
5.) The character will be a perfect fit for the Street Fighter universe.
6.) The character is a female.
7.) She is in the Street Fighter comics.

God I've completely stopped playing this again mostly due to getting a lovely Vita for Christmas, which turned out to be a ploy by my gf to get me away from the TV so that she can make her way through all 244 episodes of Frasier.

Anyway, we should organise a HoG visit soon.

I've had a couple of half hour fighting sessions after work this week but have been wasting most of my life watching Battlestar Galactica, which from now on I'm going to go ahead and refer to as the best TV show. We're only half way through season 2, though, so I guess it still has time to start being lame.

Does anyone fancy a srs ft5 against my newborn Chun? I still don't have a consistent combo but I think as a poor combo-learner I've made a reasonable character choice here.

I've mainly been playing Super Amazing Wagon Adventure Turbo instead. (That's not a joke about Street Fighter game titles, it's a real XBL indie game. It's incredible, everyone should download it. It's less than a quid!)

I liked it basically all the way to the end. You have some seriously brilliant moments ahead of you.

It's no Friday Night Lights though.

Prepare for hard reads!

After finally managing to do a complete run on Spelunky the other day, I decided it was okay to start other games, and I shouldn't feel guilty. So I started playing Gunpoint, which is a really fun puzzler/jumping through windows and landing on your face sim, with an excellent jazz soundtrack. I'm still really enjoying FE:Awakening too, but I haven't had much time to play that since getting back to work, unfortunately.

I really want to buy Metal Gear Revengeance: Rising, but I know it'll be under a tenner before I get the chance to play it. Must stay strong!

I will buy that Wagon game for sure. Whether I'll play it is another matter thanks to Everybody's Golf and those damn crowns.

AGDQ has been eating up lots of my Streetfighting time. :( If I'm not watching live runs I'm catching up on the archives.

Slightly salty but not entirely surprised that the Super Mario Land 2 playthrough I did in November (link) looks positively pedestrian now,,,

Next-gen version announced yet?

Yeah I know they've said no but it still feels weird when this game is designed to be played for years. Regardless of the millions of current generation owners to supposedly make money from.

So much ridiculous execution on display on those runs. Man. Frame perfect jump headbutts in battletoads was hilarious.

Oh yes, yes definitely. Hopefully Jellum is able to come along too. That would be excellent. Excellent wee trailer. Good balance of cringe versus nice.

Oh, I kinda wanna enter the 3rd Strike 3v3 thing, but I'm only one person.
