It's such a shame, that. Skullomania, Pullum, Hokuto and D. Dark would all be so awesome to have in SFIV. Skullomania would be fast friends with El Fuerte, I reckon. And Hokuto's juggle nonsense with her energy bow thing would be so entertaining.

Ha, I'll get to it soon I promise. It was a fantastic event, probably my favourite of the year, so I have lots to say about it. I'm sure Mr. 'choo can fill you in on some of the highlights if you can't wait for my write up.

Hello Street Fighter thread. I'm having a pre next gen clear out and came across a 3rd Strike DVD from Japan, the English bits say:

Super Battle DVD Vol7

Would anyone like it? Answers on a postcard (pm) please. If not, I'll turn them into two small vanity mirrors.

It was great fun! Really drove home how out of my depth that level is but spectating was a pleasure. Good to see Jellum and watch some incredibly clutch wins from the man. I'll leave the details to the master of write-ups himself :).

When is Jellum gonna do his big writeup of fightings then? I like that kinda thing. Also, Dreamhack is this weekend also, in Sweeden. Will there be Ixion? I like Ixion. I'm gonna try watch some of it while keeping an eye out for wild reactions and insisting it's thon new proximity/state change options selects.

Zelda: Link Between Worlds is better than I could ever have hoped. Imagine.

In case folks haven't seen it, Alioune has started using proximity OS in matches. If you look at his inputs, every time he does a crouching medium punch he's doing it:

this is so fucking retarded . i really dont get wtf im supposed to be seeing. all i see is presseing a button and getting punished by it. trust me i punish whiifs with ultra's ALL THE TIME and im not even a known by anybody. point im trying to make is does that make me a good player ? no it just means i have exceptional timing . with that being said this is nothing. just like plinking its actually nothing at all , just trying to make something (pointless) out of nothing

I am buying a Wii U in mere days, which is also excellent. I am seriously tempted by the Nintendo bundle with the Mario Wii remote and Mario Hat. I know I should wait for those odd days where Shopto do £200 bundles but I don't know how long I'll be able to hold out knowing that 3D World is available but not in my hands.

Oh, and on the way back from Teesports I was told about a man named VDO who plays a team in MVC2 that doesn't feature any of the established god tier characters and manages to beat people using MSP and the like. Rogue/Colossus/Ken. Madness.

Anyway I may play this game at some point tonight, possibly around 8ish? I almost played my Wii U last night for the second time ever but I didn't, and now I think I'm back on the sf grind.

What's everyone else been up to?

The other night I watched The Proposal and I'm just about to start watching Miss Congeniality, something has gone very wrong with my film watching I blame the wife. Though Betty White was in The Proposal which makes it golden girl-tastic. Street Fighter!!!
