I didn't know the japanese version called Oni something else; the announcer sounds like he's saying "good old cheeky Oni wins", which is just wonderful.

The worst stage is the volcano one. Every time someone picks Akuma and then chooses the volcanic rim stage I visualize their Linkin Park posters and have a wee laugh in my own fat old belly.

Just wait until Ultra and the inevitable Pitstop 109 lobbies :P

This is now what I will be saying to myself whenever I see Oni win, even against me. Genuine thanks.

Hegg, I hope to make it on Thursday but it will depend on work. I've seen next to no classic sci-fi films including this one so I'd really like to!

My favourite stage is the one with the hippos. Imagine being the guy who created those.

'Oh wow. Did you have a hand in designing focus attacks? Did you get a say when it came to things like frame data?'

'You know the hippos on the African stage? ... '

I'm around until at least 10pm, as GF is goinig out. So whatever's best for you.

I would like some Honda too, but FT10 with each may take a long time, so up to you how we do this.

Also, Drive In At Night is genuinely one of my favourite stages.

Just sayin'.

After you see it once you spend every match waiting for it and not paying attention. Or at least that's my excuse. Hippo stage is best stage.

Not maddened as in angry, maddened as in gone insane, sadly.

Or turned into a former American football player.

Imagine if the titles in the Madden series were actually a whole bunch of minigames that drive you insane with their difficulty or mundanity...

Guys, I have been spelling the word "wildebeest" incorrectly my entire life. Granted, I cannot think of a single occasion when I'd have had to write it, but the thought that I may have done at some point in my life chills me to my very core.
