That's Yatagarasu, the other game I tried to sell to people at Heggwest :-) it's available on PC right now and will probably run on a calculator, and of course it's really good. I think it has online play too, but I haven't tried because street fighter.

I think the XB/PS4/Vita version is the existing original game, and there's also a sequel in development for PC with extra characters and ting.

Dangit. I watched the trailer and thought, 'is that Yatagarasu?' Then googled it and found it had a different subtitle.

I may never get over this.

Haha, immediately after clicking "post" I realised that you obviously know what Yatagarasu is because you've posted about it before.

Oh, spucuck, here's a thing.

After a cammy backthrow whiff st.mk and then do a jumping lk. It's an unblockable on all shotos + guy, and makes all reversals whiff. That should make ranked about 50% easier.

Also, during a darker period of my life, I went diamond felching on the SRK forums and compiled this horribly incomplete set of cammy notes.

Page 2? For shame.

I had pulled pork at The Joint in Brixton Village on Saturday. Pretty good, it comes in a vanilla and fig brioche bun with candied apple smoked bacon and excellent coleslaw. And they do chili ribs and hot wings and onion rings as side orders.

My recent attempts to try out Emo Ryu have been hilariously bad. Every time I'm about to get a win I panic and start throwing fireballs at the least clever range possible. I'm just as bad with Normal Ryu really, my fundamentals are pretty shocking at times.

Does this mean you're 'back'? Did you ever go away? We talked about how we may never see you again at Heggwest, we were worried. Drama!

Also, I'd be up for a HoG session at some point.

Took the day off so that I could be there for the entire opening day of the German Christmas Market on Friday. Drank many beers and ate many pork products. Also lots of delicious cherry mead. Oh how I love cherry mead. A good day.

Saturday I went to the market again and ate more food, then played Cards against humanity in the evening. I don't think I've ever laughed quite so much in such a short space of time. Holy shit that game is funny, or at least it is with the right people. Great for bringing out the dark horses in a group too. Would definitely play again. I brought that up because I believe JoePlus is a fan, and also because I am self-indulgently using this thread to post a weekend diary of sorts out of sheer boredom.

I played this game for eight hours yesterday. No Sunday Face Off, so we had a gathering at Ghost's house that turned out to be better attended than the average Sunday Face Off. I have my new stick installed now. It's taking some getting used to but it isn't as wobbly and unreliable as the old one. I think it will be good. Also it has a lovely pink ball top. I didn't play a single game as Chun. Sorry Alistarr. I have lost all patience for her match ups where her anti-airs don't work and she becomes useless. Fuzzy's Cammy at Rival Scenes was the tipping point. I'll stick with her against Guile, Sagat, Bipson, Gief and other real characters but I'm definitely going more counter pick heavy against the sillier members of the cast. Oh, and there was some Third Strike and Dive Kick. Dr. Shoals is stupid and is one of the many many things in the game that is the complete opposite of what made the game good in the first place. I weep for Dive Kick, I truly do.

How was everyone else's weekend? Do any good combos and special moves and that?

Actually, hardly fought anyone since Heggwest.

Still off with messed up ankle, the probability of surgery has been brought up. Also I might have to buy a walking cane for the time being. Joy.

Upshot is that I am playing lots and lots of SF every day.

Downside is that everyone else is busy with work and other unimportant things that aren't children's games, so I rarely get to play any actual peoples.

Oh, on Sunday a few people went on an Asda run. One of the orders was for a botttle of Coke and some chocolate Hob Nobs. They didn't make it to Asda before closing so ended up going to Waitrose. They came back with a bottle of Shloer and some Chocolate and Vanilla all butter shortbreads. How the other half live eh lads?
