Ayano posted an update about Ultra over on capcom.co.jp yesterday - looking at Siliconera's translation it doesn't look like anything new, just some details of red focus (scenarios showing how it will stop a "j.MK, cr.MK, fireball" combo from Ryu, but won't stop armour-break moves or throws) and using both Ultras (examples of how it would benefit players in certain scenarios; picking Hakan and using U2 against jump-happy opponents, for example.)

Then it went on to talk about SF X Capcom and Darkstalkers so meh. The Ultra chatter is mostly stuff we already heard from Combofiend, but Combo's update didn't have Ayano Juri cosplay, so it's not all bad...

Youmacon tournament was pretty good, including plenty of real characters and some as-close-to-real-as-is-possible play from at least one totally nonsense character. Top 8s are in this archive (I think Marvel started after Injustice, then Street Fighter was up last):

Rose combo (Kidney Blow - > Rose - > cr. fierce) containing a one frame link (cr. fierce - > standing roundhouse) to complete the double perfect. Smuggles. Impressed with Royal Phlush's block on the cr. short cross up/lands in front set up in the corner. It's quite a common thing these days but Dudley's still catches most people off guard as they're not used to being crossed up by him.

Yeah, I've not seen that yet either.

Anyone gonna be around today for fightings? Ive played exactly two sessions with two human opponents, namely Joffo and Alistarr, since Heggwest. I'm desperate to play you guys.

I've until 6:30pm. Give me a time. I hope someone can fight me.

Canada Cup? That was ages ago.

No, the video, the fact that it clearly says who's playing, and the fact that you mentioned it was the grand final kinda takes the fun out of watching some matches for those who want to watch the whole tournament I'm afraid.

Hi again thread. Long time no see.

Started playing again after a massive hiatus (and because nobody plays Skullgirls on Steam :( )

How much of a terrible person am I for picking up Cammy? That Cr.Fierce, Cr.Forward, H.Drill combo is just. so. meaty..
