So far on Pokeymans I've apparently played for 20 hours, and have only just got the second gym badge - 4 out of the 6 Mans I'm using were over level 30 at the time, but thankfully the grass and water types weren't :D

I've managed to trade to get Squirtle and Charmander (I picked Bulbasaur), so I've managed to get all of the original starters. I got a Fennekin through the GTS earlier too, only to then get another one straight away from Wonder Trade (which is marvelous). The duplicate was then traded for a Amaura, which was the fossil pokemon I didn't pick. I've also been trying to go out of my way to get Mans that I can't get in Y. I should probably get out more.

Really loving the easy access to trading on this, and my slight obsession with having one of each pokeyman is incredibly strong still at the moment.

I almost played Street Fighter tonight, but the chair I'd have to sit on at the hotel is incredibly uncomfortable.

You may be disappointed then. First off, I've only got one. Secondly, he's grumpy and will probably spend a large amount of time resolutely not being around. That said, he's a magnificent bastard and is totally worth seeing should the opportunity present itself.

Everyone is away to Heggwest instead. I'll be going to the King of Irn First tomorrow though, for some mild Danning. Very mild though.

I am very jealous of Heggwest but I have a wedding to attend today. I tried to convince my auntie to change the date as I wanted to go play Street Fighter but she's pretty unshakable in her bitterness about the shift from hand drawn sprites to 3D models in fighting games.

I think at least one person stayed up all night to play street fighter. I haven't gone to check yet but I'm going to guess it was JLM, Donut or Imp. It definitely wasn't Hegg because he's lying* next to me.

*He says I'm the only one and that Guile is low tier.

I'm playing Ouendan 2 and I've remembered why I prefer the original. The targets don't flow with the songs as well as they do in the first so there are bits where I can't quite work out the rhythm of the taps. I'm hemmed in by a bunch of middle- aged men away on a lads weekend. Wonder what they're making of Ouendan. I've just done the bit with the schoolgirls. They probably think I'm a weirdo. Girl opposite smiled at me. Probably a sympathy smile. Nearly there!

Damn fine.

Yesss! Heggwest was amazing. Thanks Cale, you lovely, lovely man. What a host. Great seeing you all again and good to meet Ig and Scott for the first time. I failed to represent and didn't win a single tourney game but it was all incredibly fun. Shoutouts to P. Sagat and B. Ryu.

Am now in a pub in Taunton waiting for my big bro to arrive so we can get shitfaced, so thanks again Cale for giving me an excuse to be in this part of the country.

Oh, excellent. Thanks sir! I'd much rather have attended Heggwest but I had to go to a wedding yesterday. I don't expect to do well at this but if I get on stream I will try to land a lovely KRK FADC crouching taunt. :)

I learned some wild anti-Bison techfrom Ixions srk posts recently but I've had no chance to test it. Basically a correctly timed lk.knee will beat all of his wakeup options. Avoids scissors and ex psycho, hits ex stomp and helps chase down teleports while remaining safe on block. Possibly positive on block. I wish I knew how to time it!
