nowt special, missed lots of what I was trying to do as it was the first match of the evening and I wasn't mixing it up enough, but still managed to get the win only to receive this lovely message

I think parry practice mode is more fun than actually playing the game. It took me about 40 minutes, but I can now red parry Dudley's EX Machine Gun Blow about 35% of the time. I get too excited and forget to punish, though. Most of the time my retaliation is an unintentional Hugo super jump.

One thing that made a big difference to me for post-parry-punishin' was finding out that you can press a button at any point during the parry animation and it'll store that then perform the move as soon as the parry ends. I use it with Necro's cancellable cr.lp so I can concentrate on buffering the Super Art instead. You probably already knew that.

Yeah! I was helpful! I think I learned it from some of those Renic tutorial videos. Those were pretty good. I'm still dreadful though, obviously.

I'm watching a little of The Fall Classic sp00ky streak just now. I've only seen the finals of Smash, which resulted in a man huffing about losing. I like smash brothers a whole lot but I just don't enjoy watching it being played competitively. I can't figure out why. I miss the items and the chaos, I guess. And Captain Falcon.

The stream dropped from the twitch app for a second and I changed to Dreamhack for a second. I've never watched any of these other things on twitch before, it's Starcraft II and the whole thing looks remarkably slick and civilized and terrifying, like it's the start of a remake of The Running Man.
