Happy plopboy everybody! Also thank you!

My plans are as follows:

THURSDAY: Go and see the awful looking Sandra Bullock buddy cop movie "The Heat" because I have this problem where I need to see all new Sandra Bullock films at the cinema. I don't know if he remembers, but Allystah has seen my signed and framed photo of The Bullock. It's pretty serious.

FRIDAY: Drinking and celebrating and things of that nature.

SATURDAY: Being hung over, ideally playing a lot of Streetfighter during the day in preparation for...

SUNDAY: SFO tournament featuring the ENTIRE two man Team Jellistarr roster. Also spots in the Leeds team for the upcoming inter-region 5vs5 tournament are up for grabs. I think I'm currently in my worst form since I started placing at SFO tournaments, so I have much preparing to do.

SOME TIME NEXT WEEK: Belated birthday meatstravaganza at Red's true barbeque.

THURSDAY: Become chief justice of the supreme court.

Very happy birthday to Jellum! You're one of the very best of all humans, and there are lots of them. I have seen several Sandra Bullock films and I have been to the very location where the 75th annual Miss United States beauty pageant was filmed for Miss Congeniality on the riverwalk of San Antonio, Texas.

Had to grind ranked this evening, because a recent session where my router was playing up left me down at about 400PP because of disconnections. Wanted to get back to 1000, but ended up at about 950 after a nice read leading to Super finish against a good Hakan player, and thought I should leave on a high.

I also sent a helpful message to a Chun player who ran it back a couple of times, he wasn't punishing my unsafe stuff so I gave him some tips and got a nice message back. Lovely Fighter :)

Bless you Joffles, and thanks to all of you for your Plopday posts.

I am back from seeing The Heat. It had far more genuinely funny moments than I expected. As much of a hugely biased Bullock fanboy as I am, I will admit when she has made me sit through ninety minutes of utter garbage, like the Proposal. This film was not garbage and I was sufficiently entertained throughout. There's a quote for the DVD box. It's 65% fresh on Rottentomatoes too, so maybe my expectations shouldn't have been quite as low as they were.

It's also right at the end of its run, so it was shown in a tiny tiny screen that only had about eight rows of seats. They say it's where films go to die and I believe them. It did not spoil my fun though, as it felt like the home cinema room in the house of a hip hop superstar and I am a big MTV Cribs fan.

I am jealous of your Bullocdote Joffo. Funny thing about my Bullock fandom is that it has become bigger than me. Although I do have a major soft spot for her, I like plenty of other actors, actresses, comedians and selected moderately sized mammals as well. This one is amusing to my friends though, because Sandy fandom does necessitate the viewings of films that are not necessarily aimed at adult males. I am not bothered by that in particular as Mean Girls is one of my favourite films and I would be worse off to deny myself entertainment on that basis. However, the burden I bear is that Sandy fandom also necessitates the viewing of films that are arguably not worthy of viewing by anyone. For every Demolition Man there is an All About Steve, for every The Blind Side there is a The Proposal. It is now at the point where I have friends who insist on accompanying me to Sandra Bullock films when they come out at the cinema, with their enthusiasm often equalling or eclipsing my own. To put it into perspective, I haven't seen the Partridge movie or half a dozen other things I'm interested in seeing yet but I went to see The Heat on its last day on my birthday.

Furthermore, the signed and framed Bullock picture I have on my wall is one of three signed and framed Bullock photos I own. I did not purchase these myself, but three separate people on three separate occasions have seen fit to buy me an expensive signed and framed Sandra Bullock photo for a Christmas or Birthday present. I keep the other two locked away because I fear that having a room with all three of them on display paints the picture of a disturbed and dangerous individual.

Then I did a combo into ultra and it was cool.

I prepared for SFO by staying up too late last night at a musical concert, and am readying myself for a probable 0-2 showing on Sunday. Will be attempting to get online tonight and Saturday morning if anyone fancies some serious matches wherein I drop all the combos and have forgotten to stop jumping.

Also Divekick is £5 in a Greenlight sale on Steam if anyone's interested.

Also too Imp (or anyone), should I get La Mulana or Miasmata while they're on sale? Bear in mind when answering that it doesn't matter because I've still only played about 30 minutes of Rogue Legacy so I won't get round to playing either until next never.

Also three happy birthday everyone!

It really was. That lobby with you, JLM and Donut was excellent - nobody wanted to go to the back of the queue so all the matches were great. Then I had some fun random select games and chat with Qazimod and Curtis before skulking off to grind my rusty Rufus combos in public matches.

Another few nights like that and I'll be ready for the tournament tomorr... Oh.

Man, you were on fire yesterday dude. How many wins did you rack up in a row? 8? Not so hard against me, but that was against me, Donut and Jellum!

I think you're in good shape for your tourney tomo.

So's Jellum.

You're both gonna be fine. Relax, don't worry or panic about training. You both have the ability to outthink your opponent and that doesn't go away.

And remember to watch your counter pokes after a footsie exchange.

:)

Ended up in Qazimods lobby myself. Was very fun. Tried some characters other than Guile.

Played Zangief against Sagat. I have no idea how to get in with Gief, and lost badly. Highlight tho was jump back to bait a Tiger uppercut from the corner and U2ed that uppercut. Gief feels good. Really good.

I'm so excited.

SFIV is the greatest game ever.

I do hope Ultra doesnt fuck it all up.
