Sin of omission! I am certainly looking forward to seeing all his silly nonsense.

I might not get to play tonight as my new flatmate is moving in and having dinner with her boyfriend. Unless there are any characters whose moves all make the sound of romantic smooth jazz?

Deadpool/Joe/Ammy probably wouldn't be an awful keepaway team. Don't pick Morrigan, she's difficult to get to grips with. Dormammu is good and works in front of a bunch of characters, or you could even put him in third with dark hole assist and the threat of x factor comebacks. Actually yes, pick Dormammu.

Happy to do a training session any time you might fancy it!

You need to be on speed or something to make any sense of marvel whatsoever, I find. When you're used to the stately pace of a streetfighter match suddenly having a magneto wildly tri-dashing towards you with sentinel drones assist out is all a bit much.

I was listening to an old Adam and Joe podcast on the way to work today where Joe describes a Punchdrunk production, weird coincidence. It sounded quite good fun. He got sort of assaulted but in a sexy way by a woman dressed as an apothecary.

Alistarr, I think I've still got a bit of work ahead before I can even think coherently about teams/strategy/anything at all, but much appreciated. It does look good fun though so hopefully I can get at least to a stage where your advice might not fall on stupid ears.

The best part of the game is going to the character info sound test thing and listening all of Morrigan's excellent attempts at a scottish accent.

Reminds me of Rachel Alucard's (BB) godawful attempt at some sort of English accent. SF dub is godlike by comparison.

At least SF doesn't force you to hear your opponent's choice of voice.

Anyone fancy some BB: Extend sometime, just for girly giggles?

Joe, that's cool - like I say just shout if you fancy it. I offer because I only really got any idea of what the point of the game was when I played half an hour with Choo at a Heggfest - we didn't really play proper matches, he just talked me through the mechanics and what players should be wanting to do to each other while we took turns pressing buttons, which made all the mechanics seem a lot easier to take in and remember. Plus the game has a quick rematch option (yesssssss) which makes it nice and easy to keep things moving. So no pressure but if you're feeling overwhelmed then playing a bit with someone who can tell you the point of it all might help no matter what stage you're at!
