Ultra Street Fighter IV

My offer of a copy of Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 for xbox360 still stands if anyone would like it. No box or anything though, just the disc and the risks involved in giving me your address.

I've been tempted, but probably due to a combination of 'Free' and my inherited Jewish blood.

I won't play it though, so it would best go to someone who would.

Thank you for the offer though dude.

Ooh, can I claim this Joffo? I'll PM my address if that's OK. I'm a bit tired of Street Fighter at the moment, it'd be nice to give something different a try.

I'm not sure whether to be all "join us!" about you trying out Marvel or be all "burn the heretic!" about you being tired of Street Fighter. But yes, if you are playing Marvel then let me know, I am bad at the game but will happily talk you through what basics I know if you fancy a few training matches at some point.

Marvel also features Jellistarr's most wanted new feature for USF4 - a quick rematch button for online play.

You can indeed! I'll get it sent off as soon as I have a moment when I'm not working or playing Street Fighter. I'll even maybe start playing Marvel also. When's Marbles?

How advanced are you talking with the combos? His b'n'b combos are all pretty difficult but they're lots of fun to do once you've practised. High execution but big damage is his whole deal.

Off a jump in you want:

Standing fierce - > MK axe kick - > cr. jab (or cr. MP if you're fancy) xx lk tatsu - > Uppercut

I like to replace the LK tatsu with a fireball FADC and extend the combo for fanciness but it's far from essential.

Cr. MK - > fireball - > FADC - > standing fierce - > MK axe kick - > cr. jab or MP xx lk tatsu - > uppercut is his 2 bar b'n'b.

If they're too far for standing fierce to hit then fireball FADC uppercut is OK damage.

After the uppercut you can do FADC into MK axe kick for a hard knockdown or FADC ultra for a bit of damage.

If you want easier combos with him then you can just do cr.MK or cr.MP or standing fierce straight into LK tatsu and then juggle that with uppercut. That's decent damage but if you're doing that then you may be better off playing Akuma because he does it better and has about a million more options overrall.

The combos listed are the all the ones I use and can do somewhat consistently. After that it all gets a little bit one frame heavy and Sako-only.

EDIT: GGs to Joffles, Iggy and Camel this evening. Oh, and brief GGs to Judgement too. I hope you didn't leave on my account as I left shortly after you did anyway. Also I didn't mean any disrespect with the opening taunt or picking Dudley mirrors. I always open with a taunt the first time I fight someone in a Rllmuk lobby and I love Dudley mirrors.

If you play against imp, do this combo and he will chuckle a bit and say "Marvelous!" and then go on to win the round regardless. It's OK though, because you can just upload the combo itself and bask in its glory like I did:
