In other news, I landed my filthy Yang mix up on Allystah during Evo weekend but have yet to land the lovely bit of Oni trickery I was shown by OverMostHeads in a match. Coming soon. I also have a new Ryu gimmick and, most excitingly, a new Chun-Li mix up that actually annoyed me a bit because I can't believe I hadn't thought of it myself. Shenanigans everywhere.

Today I am going to watch a live band recreate Daft Punk's "Discovery" in its entirety. Should be fun, though I'd prefer it if they moved the time to 2A.M. because it is currently impossible to do anything before then without being mad sweaty yo.

I think I've finally figured out a couple of things against Seth setups Donut likes to use.

The annoying thing is its taken me a while cos I couldn't do the bastard things myself. So I actually had to train to do them in order to record them to be able to train against them.

I can see why good players start to be able to use most characters to some degree.

The only trouble with learning how to use Seth is you'll never get your soul back now.

Oh, don't misunderstand. I'm not saying I know how to use him at all. I'm just saying the effort I had to put into learning these just to defend against them at my level means I can see how you could eventually learn the basics of the majority of the cast.

And then the more you'll have to learn to defend against, the more you'll learn about the character you're defending agsinst.

It absolutely makes sense to learn how to use all the characters so you are aware of their capabilities and what players are likely to do.

I can use one character and I'm note even sure about that any more.
