I have played around 30 matches this week and lost all but one. I won with Bipson but it was a shameful victory. It's either Bipson, Gouken, Sakura or Cammy.

I got a "spamming noob" message once for flattening a guy with Mitsurugi in Soul Calibur 4. Of course, he was using one of the popular spammer characters - either the pirate guy with the hat or Kilik - and I had used a bewildering range of switch-ups to repeatedly knock him off his stupid feet.

I think I might have even finished with my favourite cheeky tap on the head move.

Guile's got some of the best normal moves in the game, the irritating prick. The backfist and and normal anti-airs are wildly annoying when used well.

Folks, just to be clear as Uzi was confuddled: league matches are first to 3 not best of 3, so please don't stop at 2-1 - results should be 3-0, 3-1 or 3-2. Ta.

Last night I played some guy in Endless who'd added me as a friend after some random encounter a few weeks back. He was called zMADxFROz or something. Added me to a party with mic and everything, so I got to hear his reactions to my pink fei long underwear and constant giggles. He mostly he huffed at stuff. Like throws, or crossups or the fact I kept saying "Ooh, nice combo mad frogs!".

One of his friends joined us too, for a bit, though he had literally 1PP. After I took a round with Makoto he kept going on about how she's just a complete slut and asked me why I liked that slut. I felt that Makoto was probably pretty unlikely to be a slut since she's preoccupied with all the hard work that needs to be done repairing her dojo while also concentrating on her strict training so all of her sexual desires would be met in a brief, functional manner. He would not be swayed on the issue and immediately ragequit after the match, such was his conviction.

EDIT: Also, that "FUCK OFF YOU SHIT MASHING TWAT" gives me the most horrible visual image of a fleshy mortar and pestle.

I think the new version of SFIV should rename Flash Kicks to Mash Kicks because it seems like a common cheat Guile players employ, anyway real characters have a charge move that takes more than 2 seconds
