Oh my god, the grand finals were so incredibly hype, the most exciting set in any game I've seen in recent memory. In the words of the commentators:

Spooky: "The greatest set I've ever seen in Cross Tekken."

Combofiend: "I feel sorry for anyone not watching this right now."

Agreed, and AE finals - while lacking the sheen of a new game with shiny new mechanics to see manipulated - were also enjoyable to see.

In stark contrast, I am so incredibly bored with Marvel, I am about to give up and go to bed. Right now. In the middle of finals.

Excellent work joe, especially on the rules, very clear.

AE top 8 was good, although I was sad the two players I was rooting for most had to play each other.

I'm so impressed by the form Ryan Hart is in at the moment. His reads, and his absolute refusal to ever give up on a round make him so fun to watch these days. Also, infiltration is really dull, I hope gouki gets hit hard with the nerf hammer.

Who wants to do some league fightin' today then? Joffo? Sith?

I may well be on later this evening? Around 10pm maybe? If either of you are gonna be on, that is! If you can only be on earlier than that let me know.

Also, I misread the league thread as I thought the gamertag list was the fixtures; "JLM versus Jasonc85? That'll be tense as fuck!".

Ended up drinking a fair bit this evening, sorry. Which is just as we'll as my enthusiasm has caused one of my flatmates to decide tonight was a good night to iplayer the past week's masterchef.

Hello friends. I would like to echo Alistarr's comments about not spoiling Final Round. Well done and thank you all, and if this could continue for a while that would be tremendous as I haven't seen any of it yet.

Joffles, I will try to be around tomorrow or Wednesday, after that I'm going to Berlin for the weekend so it'd have to be next week.

I think learning a new character is basically the equivalent of sacking the manager. Alternatively you could attract a foreign buyer to change your fortunes, which I guess in this game would mean moving to Japan for a couple of months so you can level up in the arcades.
