Please come back donut. I miss mashing through your seth nonsense.

also I just had some fights with foul ryu against some wild 4000pp fei long. I took a match off him, somehow, which seemed only to anger him. I've never really played a good fei before. His wakeup mixups are bloody terrifying. Why on earth he has a command grab I'll never know.

Sorry to miss you haggar but your invite disappeared, presumably because you'd got a room with Mr. Long.

I was in a nice set with a French Vega player anyway. My pre-league training routine is setting up a lobby asking for 1k-2k PP players so I can try to punch above and improve a bit. Kicked so many 5k+ people, I don't know if it's for cheap wins or they'll just join anything out of boredom.

That Hypespotting fighting game tournament in this weekend in Glasgow. Literally around the corner from where I work, but I'm working on saturday until 4pm so I'll miss the SSFIV pools. I might go and see if anyone is up for a last minute 3rd Strike sign up since it's 3 on 3 teams, but I'll likely mostly just spectate a little and hope for a few cheeky casual matches.

Anyone else likely to be there? I know Caz Chan will be making an appearance. Yasawas? I'm sure there's one other scottish guy. Faded? I don't think there's Virtua Fighter this year though, bah.

Patronsaint came up last year too, which was nice. There's more Marvel this year too, obviously.

Oh Donut, I hope all is well soon. I was getting ruined by a Makoto only yesterday just like old times and it made me think I hadn't seen that big avatar lassie in a wee while.

No plans for Hypespotting this year. I'm busy on Saturday and not sure I'd be able to afford it anyway, it'd cost £30 to get pumped at 3S and I can do that from my couch for nothing.

This reply box is showing unformatted, non-wordwrapped text for some reason and I don't know what it'l look like when I click post.

You could always just play casuals on the (relatively) cheap. Again, you could do that on your couch.

I'd like them to add some training mode extras in the next update too; especially being able to program the CPU to perform frame-perfect moves after certain scenarios; like always doing a dragon punch after an untechable knockdown. Or choosing five options for the CPU to choose for each wakeup, either in sequence or randomly. It'd also be nice to program combos into them by either choosing the move by name or on a frame by frame input command line to test your defenses against certain option selects (and to discover new ones).

Being able to reset training mode with the backbutton or being able to flick between different saved training scenarios with it would also be nice.

The most important thing I want from the update is that quick rematch option for wo player lobbies though.

Definitely needs better training options. Interestingly, a lot of what you suggested is in Blazblue Extend. Oh, if only I could import all BBs options to SF I'd be a happy man. Even the option to set P1/P2 preferences. I set mine to P2 permanently for both arcade mode and online, simply because it was my weakest side. Good god that helped me train my P2 side.

Reading through the Guile suggestions on Unity for last few days. I hope Capcoms bullshit filter is top of the line, or this could be bad.

Command line combo input is a twisted genius idea Joffles. They should make some kind of visual combo builder, where you can plug together moves like wee jigsaw pieces and then set up a CPU opponent to run through a bunch of routines - Carnage Heart meets SFIV.

I thought I would try a bit of ranked out on my last day before I return to work and managed to

a) save the baby Gootecks and purposely try and use it (first time I've managed that link, I think it is a link?)

b) I bet Desk can't do this :)

Though I did get a sound thrashing for a nice Swedish chap who played Mr Dudley, but I did managed to get up to C+ with Elf not that it means owt.

Hmmm. Plopboy, or some strange reason I can't play your vids on my phone or my PC. Everything else works fine.

Interesting.

Also, all my posting options are greyed out, again on my PC. Anybody know why this may be happening?

Maybe logging in and out again might work, but here are the youtube links if you are interrested

Also when you are replying if you want the nice formating click the little switch button in the top left hand corner of the reply box. You will also get all the controls back :)

I'll be on for half an hour or so if my internet holds up

Dude! Those vids were cool. I'm just making coffee and a ciggie and ill be on. Wouldn't mind some Elf practice, but been a while and I hate him so maybe some warmup 1st, as long as tis all ok with you, my friend?

Oops, forgot to say thanks for the reply options tip. All dandy on that front now.

To get the rep buttons back on your phone you have to click 'full version' at the bottom of a page, then scroll all the way to the bottom again, click 'Change Theme' and select 'mobile skin - improved' or something like that. Bam! Rep buttons.

Not happening for me... I just want everyone to assume I'm +1ing everything everyone says all time. That'll cover it.

Good videos plopston, have a +1.

I propose that the entire meter is a Gootecks, and each individual block is a baby Gootecks, Doing a needless FADC therefore kills two baby Gootices,

That cr. MK into Super is a cancel rather than a link. I liked just doing it straight off a normal, it was very third strikey.

It wouldn't be me commenting on a video without doing some backseat Streetfighting though would it? I liked the way you mixed up Gief, but the one thing I would suggest is going into your mix up just a tiny half step sooner than you are currently so the opponent has less time to see what you're doing as they stand up. Aftet a hard knockdown they have to get up on your terms, and the less time you give them to see which option you've gone for the better. What will happen is that the opponent will stop reacting and start flat out guessing, because they feel the need to pick an option before they even see which one you've gone for. Once this is happening, if you do Run - > stop or run - > LK feint then the chances are you'll catch them doing something foolish. Basically be a bit less respectful and a bit more obnoxious because that is 100% of Fuerte's game right there.

Thank JLM the more back seat SF the better :)

I was also in training before I had some lovely game with Mr Terminals, yes I kno hard to believe me in training, but I found out that you can do a close HK wait just a split second whilst the opponent is in the air and activate the super. Which is a really easy punish if you have meter and get the timing right. In other words I did not know this.

I've been thinking, and I think ken should lose his coward copter, and maybe suffer a slight hitbox/frame advantage nerf to his ex air tatsu. The thing's a bit ridic, and it's kind of silly that he has such a risk free way to combo into ultra when it crosses you up out of nowhere. But, out of the goodness of my heart, I think he should get a bit of a damage buff to his U1 damage after uppercut FADC.

For bipson, I think they could maybe tweak his frames a little to allow better punishes without charge, since his damage is a bit lacking if someone accidentally crosses him up and he wants to punish. Maybe buff U2 a little to make up for taking away the motion, perhaps by shortening the startup time a bit.

Would it kill sakura if ex tatsu wasn't +4 on block? It seems a bit much, somehow.
